How badly did we need that?

With Sunderland, West Ham and Stoke all winning, we'd have been right in the pooh if we hadn't got 3 points.

Sounded like we rode our luck in the closing stages, but 3 points is 3 points.

Yep, results definitely didnt go our way today and it was backs to the wall at the end but we made it

If Brom fail to win tomorrow and Palace lose though (and thats very possible), and we beat the jacks, we will be out of the drop zone next week level on points with Swansea - it could happen, and if not then, the week after, it's so tight a good run and we could be clear.

Zaha looked great by the way if you didnt see the game, turned the game on its head when he came on

You lot would win the week before the derby whewre e lost and were passsionless and gutless <wah><wah><yikes>

with chico up to his usual tricks by all accounts.

3 games out for Carroll is ok by me though.

He should get his red card rescinded in my opinion. The FA need to sort clowns like Chico out, maybe reverse the punishment onto the cheating/playacting player involved would sort out pathetic incidents such as this <doh>

Strong words there Valley. There's a lot of it about, the Norwich crowd are saying the same about their own player Snodgrass and when supporters are criticising there own players something needs to be done.

big shout out to Gutierez today who got clattered in first half but just got straight up and carried on! how it should be

Noone for England anyone?

definetly if tricky rickie lambert can get a cap nooney should (it's not as if your drowning in wingers atm tho)

had we not won that people would have been talking about relegation. it was a poor display first half and bar 10 minutes of so of domination, norwich pinned us back for most of the game and we had to counter attack.

frightening for the jacks how poorly we've been playing and yet if we win next week we'll be level on points <laugh>

We were terrible in the first half, and average in the second half. We looked like a bottom team and in the end Norwich must be stunned they lost that game.

Positives:
Marshall: again
Zaha: May be the difference in the end.
Fabio: Looked good and that was further shown when Theo came on and looked out of it.
Ole: Taking off Whitts for Zaha was a good move.
Bellamy: Best game for the season. I hope we start him much more and let him sit in the middle behind Jones.
Jones: Did exactly what he needed to do.

Negatives:
Ole: Fabio on the ground with cramp, and we are pushing for a third, so Ole takes off Mutch for Gunnar. Gunnar is a brick with legs, who does nothing. We lost all attacking intent and spent 25 minutes trying to hang on to a lead. Incredibly lucky we did.
Whitts: Will not start for Cardiff again barring injury.
Noone: Defensively let the team down time and time again in the first half. Attack great, defence.......
Turner: Stop trying to make out you can use the ball Ben. Kick it long.
Theo: Nearly cost us in the last 15 minutes. He looks bereft of confidence.

A lucky win, but when you are the bottom club in the league you take what you can. At least we look like we have a bit more quality with Fabio and Jones.

Just watched a recording of the match on Sky. Jones, Zaha and Fabio need some game time and will get better. I think we'll soon see Zaha and Noone starting with Daehli on for 10 - 15 mins for one of them. Jones gave us a lift in defence as well as attack with plenty of knock downs, flick ons and loose ball when played in to him. We need players to react to take advantage of that. Zaha and Bellamy seemd to hit it off quite quickly.

There have been a lot of changes, with a new style of play and a lot of new faces. I think we will get better, but we need to sneak a win or two early on while things settle down. It's going to be close.

see i would make a £10,000,000 offer for zaha then offer manure a £20,000,000 buy back clause in the summer but then again i dont know how much money we have to spend i'll ask jck
