So whats the general vibe about our new arrivals? I'm happy about Hughes for his experience and being just untill end of the season, also think Keane may turn good for us?

At lease we are not my local team Reading who did not get any in or Leeds who have just sacked Brian McDermott. Sorry I know the last bits are not QPR related but puts things into perspective.

We lost our best player and replaced him with a bunch of rejects, a forward from L1 and another couple who score 1 in 10, a kid no ones heard of from Man U and another player on his last legs.

Thanks and fair play Flyer, I respect your opinion mate. I know it's not been the greatest window but I personally don't know much about these players.

Harry has done exactly the right thing, he's brought in players that will enhance our push towards promotion but not tied us into ridiculous contracts.

Wow there's a lot of negativity from some of our fans. We've just strengthened our squad with 5 players, added cover to the defence and 4 forwards to help Zamora, AJ and the unfortunately injured Austin. If he hadn't got injured, perhaps we wouldn't have got 4 in, 2 or 3 maybe?

However, no other club chasing promotion has done anything like that, what if Nugent, Vardy or Knockaert get injured tomorrow for Leicester? What if Ings pulls a hamstring at Loftus Road? Looking at the strength in depth of all the teams fighting at the top of the Championship, I wouldn't swap our squad for any other. It amazes me what some fans expect?

You don't have to be a genius to see we aren't scoring enough goals, maybe HR will now feel confident enough that he has the players to push 2 up and a couple of the signings will come good.

Yeah we only have Chris Wood, Kevin Phillips, Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Jeff Schlupp, Riyad Mahrez, Andy King and Dean Hammond to cover them players

You signed aload of journeymen again. Will Keane might prove a very good signing but the rest are bloody awful.

Look what Vardy did to you slow ageing backline and all you have done is made it older and even more slower

You surely have you full quota of loans now while if needed we can enter the loan market

So do t you worry about us <ok>

I assume you were also laughing at Kevin Phillips / "you signed journeymen"....

Off you go to bed, young man, whilst we laugh at your expense...

I know how **** is Kevin Phillips. I bet he has scored more goals in his career then your whole squad put together <ok>

And the difference is were not relying on him.

QPR have complete tunnel vision

Remember this lads. Flyer has said that we'll only make the playoffs and then lose in them. If we prove him wrong in May then he should be put through the mincer and not be allowed wriggle out of it.

He's rubbing his hands together with glee with the thought of us fu*king up. Probably had a good old chuckle to himself yesterday too when he heard Austin was out for the season.

You can tell him now, we're still fighting for this title and he's got to hope we don't go into many games and get something. And I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat him. Love it.

Umm - not exactly inspired by the list of names. Doyle 3 in 24 in a successful third tier team but who was a regular in their consecutive relegations. Maiga 6 in 36. Delatorre nobody had even heard of and hasn't even been watched and assessed by Redknapp. He is clearly going to spend the rest of these seasons in the reserves to try to impress Redknpp that he does have what it takes to be a star for us in the future. Keane again very young, unproven. Could be brilliant or another Macheda. And then we have another 34 year old defender - not exactly a jaw-dropping signing in Aaaron Hughes. Perhaps it's an experiment with the aim of disproving the old adage that if you pay peanuts you will invariably get monkeys.

To be fair to Redknapp, I am coming round to the view that his hands may have been tied because TF and PB have cut off the cash transfusion he enjoyed last year. I hope that at least one of the strikers comes good for us and of course will get behind them all. However it is only right to make the comparison with the position three years ago when the much derided Warnock brought in Routledge and Miller and secured us the promotion we had begun to dream about. That was good management and sensible support by the Goons of their manager. The one time they managed to be sensible and supported the man who knew what needed to be done.

If it does go tits up from here on, there is bound to be an almighty inquest into the failings of this transfer window. I hope it doesn't come to that and hope that we do not begin to see some blame-shifting start if this gamble in miserly spending does not work.

Given the lateness of these signings how many of them are even eligible to play tomorrow?

Swords mate - get a life.
