No change in numbers in our squad and you could argue not a huge amount of improvement in quality (though there may be one or two exceptions). There does seem to be a bit more balance about the squad now though. A big man up front, an aditional left back an out and out winger and another whi can play wide. Happier with the squad now.

Need 3 points tomorrow.

This more to do with the influence of Solskjaer generally than the players he's brought in. The outgoing guys, Conway, Velikonja, Cornelius, Brayford and Moore wouldn't have figured anyway - the replacements will.

It's a question of how he integrates them and the gameplans he sets out for them. When it does go wrong as it will on occasions, like every successful manager, he'll need an effective plan B to turn it around.

The guts of the old squad is still there and he needs to organise them into a combination with a winning mentality rather than just go out not to lose it.

That wasn't his signing, he knew nothing about it.
Now Cornelius on the other hand................:emoticon-0120-doh:

I don't know how many times I've put this up but here it is again

Manager Mackay got his man on a four-year contract after revealing he had been tracking him for two years.

Quotes from Malky

“I almost took him to Watford, but the move broke down,” said the City boss.

“We have keenly followed his progress since then with interest and I am delighted he is joining our squad.

“We are really excited to be bringing in an international striker. We thought the time was right to bring him to the UK and I’m looking forward to seeing his career continue to develop with Cardiff City.”

Now I don't know about you but he looks all over a Malky signing to me.

Yes, I read that, not one quote from Malky or anyone at the club.
I don't see how we can ignore quotes from malky, papers print loads of non stories all the time,we as fans, are used to it.
But we have to favour the one that quotes what Malky said, they are his words afterall, the Guardian is supposition, basically made up until we know different.
I just don't understand how anyone can take what the Guardian says against what malky actually said.
