If the dippers can't land fourth this season they never will. If they fail this year they will have Europa league as a distraction and no Suarez maybe. Chelsea and United will be stronger next year. And arsenal are top 4 experts. Where does that leave Liverpool?

I guess they will become just another mid table team, but if rat face goes, they will made a killing on him, so could invest in a few quality players

Agreed.

This season is their best chance of breaking out of their mediocrity for the last 4 years and winning something. When rat face leaves, Liverpool will just be like the Everton and Villas of this world. Not quite bad enough to get relegated but not quite good enough for CL football.

Invest in quality players? Carroll, henderson, Downing have been top quality...<laugh>

Yea like Coutinho, Sturridge,Suarez and Enrique. And tbh Henderson has got quality, better than that gumby cleverly

Comparing an investment in a £20m + player with an academy player doesn't work.

Although I do agree that Henderson is streets ahead of Cleverley as Cleverely has gone backwards this season.

We didn't have Suarez for the first five games of the season, we won three and draw one. Ten points from a possible fifteen is top four form and would get us around the 76pt mark.
