Did anybody seriously think Holtby might come to us on loan? If they did, even I have been underestimating the extent to which any grip on current reality has been lost. <ok>
 
To be fair lads I have waited until now before raising the point that annoys the **** out of some of you but - with the 2 already in, Wes being told that he has got to stay and Elliott Bennett coming back - how many spaces have we got left in our 25 man squad?

Cromer, you do realise that's known as "tactics", it's CH we are talking about here, I think we all know what's going to happen tomorrow!

City now have a full 25 man squad plus Redmond and Murphy and any other under 21s. If an ACM did come in, it'd mean Fox coming out.

I have also been advocating this and hope CH gives it a try. The difficulty is Pilks' and Gutierrez's match fitness, especially having played on Tuesday. Might be more likely against Citeh next week. Not much to lose then!

I'd take Ledley too, but there's got to be a reason he's being sold...

As for Scott Dann, I think he's ok, but as a stop-gap I prefer Joseph Yobo, particularly as Dann has an ominous number of relegations under his belt.

As for Armero, yes, a good player probably being offered a ridiculous amount in wages, but I'm a fan of Olsson and we don't really need cover there. Plus, that just shows how bad their left back signing (Razvan Rat) has been. I thought he used to be class, it's merely evidence of more waste by Wet Sham.

Was there ever any link between us and Holtby? I thought it was just us speculating who we would like
