Express are saying Kono is on 100k a week at Dnipro (not hard to believe as they have a rich owner and might explain why he's still there) if that is accurate it might be stumbling block as I can't see us matching that (and I wouldn't want us to) so might depend on his willingness to take a pay cut to progress his career. Caughtoffside reporting we're trying to get a loan to buy deal sorted for M'Vila. Seems very unlikely but something for the M'Vila fans to cling to!
Fernando from Porto looks set for City in a 12-15 mil pound deal but the wages....... 200 k a week it was being reported!
Got to cling to something at the mo MN I'll cling to that for the next 20ish hours.....I'd be happy with that.
http://lockerdome.com/footymemes/6169470674677825/6315799807790356 Hernanes in his last training session with Lazio before going to Napoli the other day. Tough to watch, don't see that kind of loyalty often. BUT....... him going could that mean Inler going somewhere else?
Isn't Inler on quite big money too though? I'd have loved us to go after Fernando but those wages are just ****ing mental FFP eh...got to love it.
Well when you give yourself 400 million to "sponsor" the ETIHAD which you own, hey ho. Ya man, if true, we were never going to win that battle. But that makes that midfield ****ing unreal now btw.
I know....as if it wasn't unreal enough anyway Add to the dodgy sponsorship deals the fact that they got their whole ****ing stadium paid for by us (although not you in fairness)
If he's not on a plane by 12 noon then forget him. If they are playing hardball over money tell them to **** off! Think if it was going to happen it would have by now. We will just have to carry on with what we have , they've done alright so far. We always seem to drag these negotiations out for whatever reason anyway.
Liverpool transfer target Yevhen Konoplyanka branded ‘a headless chicken’ However, Ukraine legend and former Arsenal defender Oleg Luzhny says he is totally unsuited to the Premier League. He said: ‘I don’t think the English league is right for him. ‘Konoplyanka’s style of play is better suited to Italy or Spain. The game in England is totally different – it’s about power. You have to run back and forth, back and forth. You run at speed, up and down, and it’s like that for 90 minutes. ‘I saw how he played in the [World Cup play-off] second leg against France, when Ukraine lost 3-0, and he was like a headless chicken. ‘It is a completely different level. When you play in the Ukraine, you can afford not to run.’ He is a pretty good player but some of the comments coming out about him from Oleg Luzhny is a little worrying. He does come out with some very valid points.
Keep up, we knew about this twits opinion about 10 pages back I could pick out about 10 articles that suggest he'll be a huge success in the PL - but no need really, as hopefully we'll all see soon
David Anderson ‏@MirrorAnderson 36m A media source in Ukraine claims Yevhen Konoplyanka's £16m move to Liverpool is "ready to be completed". If so ****ing complete it then
LFC Transfer News @liverpool_FC £16m bid accepted. Konoplyanka offered £60k p/w on a 4.5 year contract. Will now wear the number 11 shirt #LFC
is that sterlings position he is taking/rotating with? i have heard this player can play both sides, so if true, we will have good options for rotating and keeping players fresh for the run in, doesn't solve our defensive frailties though lol.
