ok, purely hypothetical ( I hope ) say we don't go up this season, who are we gonna abuse? Harry for his tactics? tony for not getting the cheque book out in this transfer window or the players? we know someone's gonna get it in the neck, I'm just wondering will it be all or none of the above.
The majority of posters on here already have the knives out for Harry, so that's where my money would be
There have been strikers available during the window who could of done a job for us. All of them have found new clubs. Surely not every single one of them refused to come to us. So what was our plan, we all knew we needed a couple of strikers to help Charlie. Now we don't even have one fully fit striker and got three really difficult matches to come. If we lose all three games we may well have blown our promotion chances. The financial loss would far exceed the cost of any buys. Don't often worry but I am getting there right now.
Harold for sure IMO The evidence is there Man is paid a lot He has well no doubt but we all know what is expected with our club
...and he closed what feels like dozens of them over the last 2.5 years, many of which fans have moaned about both the players and what they guess at the contracts. Strikes me we are no longer mugs and negotiations for players like the Algerian bloke and Ntep moved into areas where they no longer represented value. He signs players the managers want, unless they cost too much. Sound approach. Harold is obviously accountable, the players responsible for their own performances.
So Beard's to blame for lack of signings yet Redknapp gets the credit for the summer clear-out - 'Him, him, him, him............'
I'd blame all the prima donnas that didn't want to honour their contract and play for the club in the championship. Its ironic that we are desperate for a striker when we have one in Remy. Greedy players like Park. And how the hell does Fulham loan a team our player and try to get a defender in return, they are doing our bloody job for us! Phil Beard talks the talk but I think he minces rather than walks!
When we have articles posted at this stage of the season whilst second in the league asking who we are going to blame if we don't go up? Yes I'm serious. How is it backing the team when a player comes on and before they've even touched the ball people are harping on about how c@*p they are? How much abuse does Henry get? Yet how important could that thunderbolt goal against Bolton be?
Oh I see, didn't realise you was talking about this forum. I thought you meant the lack of support fans were giving the team at games. Wow, so what we write is being read by QPR staff.... Zamora you're ****!!!!
With the bad news about Charlie the rest of team must show guts & spirit & keep up the good work that Charlie has done & got us into the position we are in starting Saturday sleeves rolled up & keep fighting for everything.
What's written on here is just as often shouted out at Loftus Road, I've heard on various occasions players being booed or shouted that they are s@#t as soon as they come on the pitch, hardly likely to fire them up to play well is it?
I think the level of dislike for Harry from some on here is nothing short of remarkable. Yes I question some of his tactical decisions, but I do remember the great football Spurs played when he was there. It wouldn't matter if Harry stayed for the next 5 years and we went on to win the Champions League, some on here would still rip him to shreds. So for me, I think it will be Harry that gets the blame.
Agree, except where blame could be attributed, it has to be shared, Harry and management. If Tony is being more careful with money (remember we still have a number of expensive "Hughes legacy" players on our books) then that is understandable. Just noticed Fulham are offering £11m for some Greek striker. Yet we seem to think we can afford £10mil on Rhodes ?
The blame lies fairly and squarely with Harry. Austin's injury would never have happened if it wasn't for him. This is God's way of punishing QPR for Harry's stance on gay marriage.
