ah right, Sky was putting links up about him. Gomes I think it was. Would rather Gaitan from there as at least I have seen him play!
btw, getting more into Ultimate Team and now have some kinfolk who have ps4 so can actually play against them and chop and change around. Going South American for my first one.
Still some rumours in the Portugese press about Andre Gomes, but asking price is supposedly 15M euros. Which seems very expensive for someone who's played a handful of senior games.
Its alright at first, I got a bit bored of it so I've not played it for a while. Its good fun when you play against nob heads who do all the tricks extra but you managed to batter them
I like the contract thing, more realistic. Just go and buy loads of 25+ game contracts after getting a bit of money built up Not sure the chemistry thing makes much difference to game play though.
YOu notice it when you play a good side and a high chemistry side I feel. Players feel "off", at least on the ps4.
When the teams flash up before starting a game (and you're already committed), I always think "oh ****" when the team is rated less than 75 overall as it usually means they can play the game. A lot of the ones with 90+ teams are kids and although they are fast, they are easy to play around
"Former Ukraine and Arsenal full-back Oleg Luzhny says that Liverpool would be making a big mistake buying Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk Yevhen Konoplyanka in the January transfer window, according to reports in the Daily Mirror. The Merseyside giants are reportedly on the verge of finalising a £16m move for the winger, with the club’s managing director Ian Ayre currently in the Ukraine negotiating a deal for the 24-year-old. However, according to Luzhny, his compatriot’s style of play is completely unsuited to the fast-paced nature of the English Premier League. “I don’t think the English league is right for him,” said Luzhny. “Konoplyanka’s style of play is better suited to Italy or Spain. The game in England is totally different – it’s about power. You have to run back and forth, back and forth. You run at speed up and down, and it’s like that for 90 minutes. “I saw how he played in the [World Cup qualification playoff] second leg against France, when Ukraine lost 3-0, and he was like a headless chicken. “It is a completely different level. When you play in the Ukraine, you can afford not to run. “In the match against France, it was evident that Konoplyanka barely runs at all. Konoplyanka is a good player, but he is suited to Spain or Italy, not England.” He's saying Kono doesn't have great stamina, Arshavin like.
David Anderson ‏@MirrorAnderson 4h Apparently, Konoplyanka will wear the number 11 shirt if he signs for Liverpool. Dnipro say Liverpool have bid around £16million.
