Loving reading the stats for the Chelsea V West Ham game. Chelsea had 39 shots, yet no goals, how funny!

Jose's been bitching that West Ham parked the bus<laugh> Already he has forgotten he turned up at OT with no striker<laugh> What a clown<doh>

Jose was quoted as saying "Why won't this team that cost as much as two of my players come to SB and play open football so we can rape them. It's not fair that they tried to get some points from a football match in the only manner they could, being in the relegation zone"

Well he didn't say that exactly, but that was essentially what he did say if you read between the lines :D

Great result for West Ham. Jose's comments are hilarious but he's no more hypocritical than pretty much any other manager as they all slag off teams / players for doing certain things but are happy to do it themselves when need be.

The most the hammers could hope for was a point. Jose's got a short memory too, it was not so long ago he turned up at OT for a point before kickoff. Most other managers would have gave West Ham credit given they were the significant underdog, most managers would not have bitched about how West Ham played tbf.

"This is not the best league in the world, this is football from the 19th century" said Mourinho.

"The only [other] thing I could bring was a Black and Decker [tool] to destroy the wall. I borrowed the Black and Decker from Bayern Munich it was the one they used against Chelsea in the Champions League final, it must be broken because it didn't work that day and it did not work for us today either, I should have asked Bayern Munich for the receipt because I think I need to return it" Mourinho added

    :D

<laugh> absolute bullshit, they were horrendous. Didn't even attempt to attack.

I have no complaints myself as they did what they had to do, but don't try and make out Jose is the only one who would've complained ffs.

How can Mourinho whinge and moan though, when plenty of teams he's managed in the past have adopted similar tactics. Look at how he set up his Inter Milan side against Barca? Look at how he used to set up Real Madrid against Barcelona, playing with no strikers? Look at how he set up his Chelsea side at Old Trafford this season, again with no strikers? Or at the Emirates this season?

This is the same Mourinho, who selects his number 10, based on there ability to track back and tackle!

Mourinho just got a taste of his own medicine last night, and as Big Sam said, he can't take it:biggrin:

I know, I don't know why he's complaining to be honest. But to be fair, it's one thing setting up defensively and another just shoving 10 men inside your own area and not making any effort to attack whatsoever.

I think Mourinho is taking the attention off his players who just drew against relegation fodder and putting it on himself.

Hold on, Inter comfortably beat Barca 3-1 at home then defended their lead away.

    **** all wrong with that.

There's nothing wrong with defensive football full stop, the best managers change their tactics to target their opponents strengths, and against Barca you have to defend. Shergar was using an awful example in Barca.

Agreed. So Mourinho should quit his hypocritical tantrum. He may WUM a few fans and a low IQ manager or too... but most fans will just think he's a cretin.

Him taking the attention off our inability to score against West Ham was the more likely reason for his comments, he's done so many times in the past. Not arsed what other fans think of him, nor will he I'm guessing.

Then there's no need for you to defend it on these forums then.

Anyway there was no need to take attention off of your inability to not score... because there wasn't any attention. The attention was on West Ham and their defensive display.
