I rekon we can do it me! 4points from the next two games! After the first 25mins tonight, well it wasn't pretty was it, we were quite poor BUT it was good to see us stick at it, keep a clean sheet and get back to winning ways at home in the league. Thats 2 loses in the last 13 and 2bh the "technical" defeat against Man Utd last week doesn't really matter after the penalty shoot out! Anyways moving along and what a keeper we have in Don Vito! I was a bit unsure when he came along with pretty much every other Sunderland fan but my word what a bargain at 2-2.5m! I thought after the games he played in pre-season he should of started on the opening day but nevermind that, he is between the sticks now and I personally think he is arguably doing just as good if not better a job for us than Mig done, and that takes some doing! A big mention has to go to Altidore as well, we don't ask much of our players 2bh but Altidore has been a strange one. I done a post on him on saturday after the game on about his lack of pretty much everything but the main thing was his workrate! Tonight he was much better, he put himself about, bullied the Stoke defence and all he was lacking was finishing that one on one! If he puts in a shift like that everyweek then he gives us a decent option. 4points from the next 2games would take us to 25points from 25games! I rekon 13points from the last 13games would be good enough! Scocco was in the crowd tonight, add to him Bridcutt and Ince (and Banega cannot see it but would be fantastic) and no reason at all why we cannot stay up! Ha'Way the Lads
Agreed Would be great if we could get 6 from the next two! But 1 at the Wonga Dome would be a good point
just need to keep the run going if we are getting points we will climb the league. A win would be nice but a draw is always on the cards
we need four from the next two, not sure when west brom is rescheduled for but after hull, we've got nothing but hard games until palace in mid march i think. cracking result tonight.
****ing hell I didn't realise until you just said that! After the Hull game we have: Man City A Arsenal A Liverpool A And WBA at home mixed up somewhere inside of those Then our final 9 games are mostly quite winnable, with the odd exception
