Morning,

Anybody else on here go to Old Trafford last night and get delayed there and more importantly back?

Got in at 5.40am due to the road works on the M6.

Bloody nightmare!!

Happy days following our beloved bluebirds!

Morning Milford
Haven't heard from any of my mates who went, so not sure what time they made it back to Cardiff, hope you had a good time.

Got back to Newport at 3AM.

Absolute nightmare, how the **** they can divert the M6 through Stafford then leave all the traffic light settings the same is beyond belief. You've got lights giving equal priority to all directions at 1.30AM with no other traffic and 2000 vehicles trying to use one route. Very poorly thought out and organised on a day with 120,000 fans visiting the 2 big North west cubs. Everyone knows a huge percentage of Liverpool's and Utd's support are out of towners.

I got home at 3:30AM. Did anyone else notice how the 73,000 home fans cleared out quicker than the whole of our support? Mind, the ground was emptying with 10 minutes to go.

Went to Blackpool once and had the same travel experience, I really feel sorry for you...would have felt a lot better if we had won.

jck

Hey jck - Went to Porthcawl more than once and never had any problems.

No Tower to go up, but usually managed to get up something - those caravans in Trecco don't half rock, especially when you're outside up against 'em.<laugh>

Dirty boy!!!!
Twas a long time ago Bluey - but I've still got painfull memories of getting sand under the foreskin. The bloody stuff got everywhere. Must have been hell for the recipients - like being shagged with a file....<laugh>

Anyway, I'd probably need someone the other side of the caravan to do the rocking for me now - sort of a passive shag if you know what I mean. <ok>

(apologies if I've offended anyone with my base recollections)

Guilty as charged! Sorry Hampshire. <doh>

They say a man thinks about sex every ten seconds, but as you get older the intervals increase proportionately with age. I've just disproved that - I'm down to 5 seconds now.

I now live just a couple of minutes from Trecco, and the caravan arrangement under the management of Parkdean is far more sanitised now than 35 years ago, all neatly laid out and strut stabilised with upvc undercladding and decking.

I bet they don't move much now, but every time I drive past, I still get a hard on........<laugh>.

"but I've still got painfull memories of getting sand under the foreskin"

Sparks, you were clearly putting it in the wrong place. <yikes>

Got back yesterday lunchtime after staying over in Premier Inn by the ground.
Hope to get the chance to go back next season <whistle>

Sparkey did you go on the water splash ride in the fair after to clean yourself up :)

My mates parents had a caravan there in the 70s - have some good memories ;)

Sorry Nin no offence meant pal. Just a little joke because of the way the thread had evolved.

My fault for not putting one of these :emoticon-0105-wink: after it.

Even taking a detour through Warrington to drop a mate off I was still home by 11pm.

I was in the top tier of the North stand and the place was emptying with 15 mins to go.
