How come Taarabt wasn't started today? I presume the Fulham manager played some 2nd string players in a game like this?

Well, he's on now for an opportunity to showcase himself - was part of the build-up for the goal against 10 men Sheff Utd. Two clear penalties (one for each side) not awarded by the ref.
Trying to be objective, I disagree, he's been involved in a lot of their build-up play, yes, one over-hit pass, possibly allowing for the heavy pitch - not sure how inclined his team-mates are to pass to him?
Again, is that also that surprising? Why pass it to someone who won't pass it back and will just end up losing it trying something stupid?

Not if you base it on his lack of match sharpness. Still my favourite player, hence my disappointment.
Came very close to win it in spectacularly fashion in injury time though, very close.
His first five passes/dribble attempts didn't come off, not sure I want to see his pass accuracy as it must have been well below 50%.
Swords, stay calm, on his day he can turn a game around, with what some may describe as "selfish" play, but when the ball goes in the net, nobody reallly cares about that.
Perhaps I'm a fool, but I still enjoy watching him play, for the possibility of that ray of brilliance that could occur.

I hate to say it but I want the scum to have a huge win, a stone win could turn their season around and the scum win will be forgotten in a few days. I love to see Hughes embarrassed in front of the whole nation.
of course, I'd ideally want both to field ineligible players and be chucked out of the cup.
I'm just going to try and enjoy the match as a neutral observer, with a whole lot less stress than watching us play.
we had a scum player faking injury after one minute, another one taking a dive in the 15th mintrying to win a pen and then faking injury again.

3 times in the first 25 mins and some on here said play acting wasnt a problem, 10% of the game has been a scum player lying on the floor complaining to the ref.
I'm watching it without thinking too much.

they are going to reach double figures with play acting and diving at this rate and its a game they should win easily.
