The Chairboys have signed former Gunner's striker Anthony Jeffrey http://www.wycombewanderers.co.uk/news/article/jeffrey-joins-the-blues-1311634.aspx
hopeful on this one, a bit of pace is helpful and hes a bit unknown.... having said that he could flop horribly, or be an unfinished product credit to gaz though - at the start of this transfer window we needed a creative midfielder, striker and left back. weve got 2 of them.....
another striker in through the door from forest green rovers! Striker Reece Styche scored 37 times in 77 starts at forest green, if we get that sort of record then that's superb!
One thing to keep in mind with the latter he has been injured for much of the last 2-3 years and only returned from a cruciate knee ligament injury recently, making his first start of the season two weeks ago. He is has only started 18 games since the start of the 2011/12 season. Also add 35 sub appearances to the 77 starts to make a more realistic assessment of his goalscoring record. I am not saying he will prove to be a bad signing but the club do like to distort a scoring record by only mentioning the starts. If he is injury prone he will fit in well with Pittman, Morgan, Craig and McClure who also seem to fit that bill!!
A young striker with pace sounds hopeful. The other one sounds a bit risky (injury-wise) but could be useful on the bench.
I gather it's good news that Golan/Logan, whatever his name is, has gone. So who is bringing out the oranges at helf time now?
