Its strange how the CI lot think people get irate/angry mad cos they try and goad them on the internet. Strange. Happys a married bloke with kids in his 40's. Sad and really really insecure from some of our new members.

Like to attack in a pack too.

What does that say about them I wonder?

"The Gull" has started a thread on a board where most have never heard of him yet most recognise he's acting the ****.

Suddenly he's a genius as it becomes apparent he's been winding up all the people who had already recognised this & labelled him up as the ******ed **** he was acting.

I think they believe that by referring to people as "old bean" or signing off with "as you were" it gives them a sense of superiority when all it does is highlight their irrelevance. We have someone at work who actually says "as you were" when he comes into the lab, funnily enough he's a know nowt, ignorant, unintelligent **** with a loving of his own voice & opinions, very few friends though.

If the thread or "prank" was funny, then I missed it & I think my sense of humour is A1.

Just referring to the original poster as "The Gull" shouts of social inadequacy.

Go on Ben! (can I call you Ben?)

Great rant and post!

Not realising he was on a wind up and rushing to post screeching replies is certainly a sign of a general inadequacy in the awareness department.

You seem to have trouble with getting 3 letter words right. There is a pompous prat on CI called
RichTiger with the same problem.

So you're suggesting I'd fit right in there with the rest of them?

I should be offended but if I'm honest, I'm slightly flattered.

Not realising he is playing a part and doesn't go around in real life addressing people as old bean shows a lack of awareness as well.

I think most knew. How was "The Gull" funny?

He acted a ****, got called out for it & all the little minions had a **** over their keyboards. Get over it wipe up your mess & move on.

It was the worst wind up ever. It was way too obvious, or was that the amusing part? Clearly, subtlety, wit and intelligence wasn't considered when he typed it.

Well I can only judge him by his posts on here , have a look at some of them

Essex Gull isn't funny on CI either

Tim Tim thers a flare gone off near me, the kids are at the winders hoping for another one. Pop round quick there maty be more. You know you want to.

I am not saying he is funny. But he can certainly reel people in. The question is which CI poster is the
Gull's other identity as he is definitely from Hull and not a Torquay fan living in Essex.

In five years time Hull Tigers will be an established Premier League team.
We will have improved steadily each season and had our first season in Europe when we just missed out on a place in the quarter finals of the Europa League on penalties.

The Development Squad which SB nurtured will account for four first team regulars and three more will be sold bringing a profit of £22million to the club. This and a steady flow of Premier League money will
bring the club's debt down to £32million (and falling) even though the transfer record has been broken again with the outlay of £40million for a top Spanish midfielder.

The mood amongst supporters will be incredibly optimistic and the name-change issue will be a distant memory as people enjoy the success of Hull Tigers (mostly people will refer to the club as 'The Tigers' except
for the Press and Media who still insist on calling us Hull).

CTWD will still exist. The membership will be down to around 80 diehards who sometimes meet up to moan about pretty much everything while still going to the matches and cheering Hull Tigers, and in a poll run
by HDM 93% of supporters will agree they would not want to go back to the name Hull City Association Football Club.
