Went to Torquay for the weekend to watch City play. The Hotel we stayed in was owned by two gay blokes and run by two lesbians. I remember thinking ''So this is Torquay eh?''

The walk up that hill to the Hotel with a bellyful of ale was a bit hard going though.

Why did you pick a hotel that clearly catered for the homosexual market, old bean?

There are several hundred in the town to choose from.

New fan LOL. I have been following City since '87, most of which we've been hopeless.

Are you still driving your hairdressers car, or are you in something more masculine now?
 
It's amusing that whenever we refer to the bad old days its always 'away at Torquay' we use as an example. And here's one of the no marks kindly reminding us of how far we've come.

We're such a big club now, we can't blame the inferior for their jealousy. We all used to be jealous of sorts of the big clubs playing quality football at the highest level in our rightful, but as of then, unclaimed place.

Sadly old chap, I just don't think Torquays time will ever come. Sorry to break the bad news.

Are you a member of the Allam family? If not, it's not your club so why use a possessive form.

It's the club that you've chose to align yourself with, old bean.

Don't need to educate me; I was there on that lovely, ****ing freezing evening at the tender age of 11.
But instead of playing teams like Torquay and York, we're now playing Premier League football. Your WUMing is just out of bitterness.
