Do we really need to discuss Mata and United in this thread? There's a Mata thread where you can discuss the Mancs. We don't want that **** in here.
RVP is injured #REPORTS Pep Guardiola is trying to hijack Juan Mata's move to Manchester United with a last-minute bid of €48M according to Bild....#CFC
His disgust at being played beyond the advice of the medical team was obvious and broadcast on TV. Here's a follow up: http://metro.co.uk/2013/11/01/robin...d-moyes-for-gambling-with-his-career-4169934/ He has since been on a skiing holiday over the New Year and since when did a thigh injury take this long to heal? There have been various leaks so until I see him on the pitch in a Utd shirt I will assume the simplest explanation of him not being #happy with things at Utd.
Just watching Levante v Barce which I think was played last night, Barce winning 3-1 atm, Tello with two goals and nearly with a third just now. Would must rather Tello than Salah tbh, although both of them would be nice! Along with a DM.
FFS... I've not seen either of them play much so I can't really comment. However, I'd rather not get a attacking player if it means we get a defensive minded CM type player
United will not be able to get the best out of Rooney, RVP and Mata in the same team. One or two will be compromised and will not play at their best. That makes me think this is an ill thought out and nieve move by United, who are going for a name after a player that actually fits. Mata wont significantly improve them. £45m would be wasted. United need to play to and compliment Rooney and RVP's strengrths if they want to improve. I'm putting this out there. Diame would make a bigger difference to United than Mata.
If it means getting one or the other then a DM is the most important area that needs improving, but I don't see why we couldn't get a DM and then get either Salah or Tello.
Surely we'd have enough money available to strengthen the first team, especially with our injuries, also if we want top 4!
