Having had the joy(and pain) of being a sunderland supporter for the last 50 or so years, and having finally weaned my 15yr old off watching the bin dippers,(its his mothers fault)I have actually managed to get to quite a few games this season. Having finally retired from traipsing round the world too whatever god-forsaken ****hole I've been sent too over the years,we've managed too get too every round of the cup this year. We've sat in the same seat every round, which I know belongs too a season ticket holder (which unfortuanately I can't afford at the moment),the thing that really pisses me off is that this guy/girl will have a much better chance of getting a ticket for the final than we will simply because he /she is a season ticket holder. I know they have'nt been to a single carling cup game this season and we have a complete "purchasing history" as the club website shows, but simply because they have a season ticket they get priority. Don't get me wrong,I know that season ticket holders provide a large slice of income too the club, however in situations like this the club should maybe give a little leeway to the fans who have been too every round.rather than those who will now jump on the "final" bandwagon. Well thats my mini rant over, which for my 1st post probably was'nt that good, however as Smug pointed out a few weeks ago,I'm one of those "lurkers" who has been on the system for years without actually posting anything. I will endeavour to post more, but normally I'm that slow that someone always beats me too it!!
