Would take the signing of Salah if it meant we get a midfielder too. I'd be very surprised if BR and the transfer committee did not have a bid lined up for any midfielder.
I think they are, think that with Lucas going down they are probably just wrapping this one up quick to move on? Hoping to hear some good news on it soon.

i am trying to see the positive in it that it will help us next season in having him and Sterling to rotate with rather than Moses, so that's a bonus i think.

I do agree on the timing of it. Maybe Rodgers thinks best to get him now before the price goes up/competition comes in? Who knows, just would be ecstatic if we ended January with Salah and Fernando/Mvila or even better Salah, Fernando/Mvila, RB ( not sure on Montoya, we already have an attacking full back in Johnson, wouldn't mind one like Zabaleta who can do both sides).
