By the way, I hoped anyone reading this thread enjoys the fact that I put a story about Barca in the Rival Watch thread,

Some may see that as being cheeky, SD, but I believe it was warranted.

We are like Barca in so many ways.

Yup. Rooney will be gone in the summer, or maybe even sooner. No way will the Glaziers let a saleable asset like that run down the final year of his contract, and it looks like he's serious about not signing a new one this time.

I'm surprised he didn't put in a transfer request as soon as Moyes was confirmed as manager, and I can only imagine that SAF had a word with him.

I still believe Man U are useless without a pair of professional choppers.Vidic is the only one they've got! when he's on the pitch...

2 crap teams, deciding a crap game with a crap penalty shoot-out. It was entertaining though.

If Welbeck, Smalling and Cleverley go to the World Cup I'll be embarrassed for English football.

Fantastic game, though what made it fantastic was that it was a chokefest. They just kept upping the ante on bottling it. First De Gea lets in the winning goal on a stop a small child could make, then Sunderland let Man U waltz in and tie it, then two straight missed nets, each by about five feet, on the way to a Sunderland 2-1 win.
