Right, I had 2 games last night on FIFA, one vs Bournmouth the other vs Everton. and won both 3 nil - few scrappy mistakes nearly cost me a goal but suarez proved to be the difference. Feeling positive - good omens! ;)

did you only use players available to us now? other wise that's cheating ;)

also tell us the wining formation and players used damn it lol

It was current players! and people won't like it...I left Sturridge on the bench!!

Formation and lineup wasL
-------------------Mig-------------------------
Johnson---sakho---Skrtel-----Cissokho
-----------Gerrard------------Allen----------
-------------------Henderson---------------
Sterling-----------Suarez---------Coutinho

I think I had Suarez AND Sterling upfront for my bournemouth game and obviously dropped Allen from midfield

Coutinho needs a rest so I'd drop him rather then Sturridge and move Suarez to the left.

Anyone that is going to play against Everton should be rest for the Bouremouth match IMO #****thecup

sturridge is vital v everton, he is the only guy with the presence to hold the ball up and allow us to get out of our half.

i am frankly disgusted by the attitude to the cup on this board.

i suggest anyone thinking that way go support a club that is more in keeping with small minds .... like everton.

We'd all love to win the cup but getting top four will propel us to new things and increase the chances of us winning things <ok> #longterm

think small and fail. 4th is not a goal its a stepping stone. thats why arsenal are not believed in by anyone. until they actually WIN something they'll be written off and written off.

If LFC deliver silverware and 4th. then we are a club on the up.

I'm still excited by the FA Cup. In these early stages I do believe, given the opposition that it should be used as a testing ground for some youngsters - even though that increases the risk.

This season Rodgers is between a rock and a hard place. He does need to maintain a challenge and secure 4th in the league. However, his only fall-back is the FA Cup so can he afford to take too many chances?

Its not that I don't agree but if we go for both we may end up with nothing, not even Europa!

that could happen anyway and as i proved with actual FACTS yesterday o nthe cup thread.

the FA cup 5th round is a break week no matter what... the 6th round is on when we play sunderland who wil be i nthe 5th round so could be in the 6th.. that game could be called off and rearranged... and the semi is on the weekend we play city and city are likely to be i nsaid semis on balance so that game will be rearranged too.

I know form experience that watching a team paly one game every two weeks while this stuff is on is disastrous for building form.

I would rather go as far as we can in the cup... then fit in one or two games... later on.. I think we can manage a cup run cos if we can't there's zero point worrying about europe next year... one year in CL aint enough we need to sustain.

I saw that comment. However, my view isn't looking that far ahead. I am looking at the two days until we play a very important game in the league.

They won't do that. I'm not saying that they won't include kids but Martinez is even more desperate than Rodgers to make this season some sort of success so he won't take the risk.

Maybe he wants to defend the trophy he won with Wigan last season?
