He certainly looks as if he has the goods, but then so do loads of our youngsters who never get to play. If I were his manager I would keep him well away from Chelsea until he's established and they pay 25 mill for him.

Bertrand has always been solid but not spectacular. With regular game time he could be very good.
It amazes me he seems so undervalued by Jose and fans. He was fantastic in the CL win, played in midfield for a game or so, is adaptable ,reliable and solid. And he does this while hardly getting a game. Buggered if I know why he isn't used more. Ditto Ake.
When Jose benched Cole I figured it was his time. Can't figure it out at all.
