How long can we keep hold of this guy, brilliant display off him today.

We don`t need to sell any players unless they want to leave. There is no complaint today we went and tried to attack and held it to 2-1 till 75 minutes and lost to two great goals then.

Amazing Ole finally substituted Whittingham!

jck

He was outstanding & if we go down someone will come in for him with an offer we can't refuse if he keeps putting in displays like today.

Eldon - he wasn't nicknamed Fingers Farrell for nothing........<whistle>

I was only a kid watching that Boro game with my dad back in the mid 60's, but he could have beaten them on his own on that day he was that good.

Never remember him repeating it though. I always liked Ronnie Bird myself..............<laugh>

I think Whitts needs a month off, then see if he comes back refreshed if not Ole should phone Forest.

Glam!
We need new signings fast before the better players are gone. Time for Tan to start splashing the cash.

Wonder how many of us remember that game?
Gregory James Philip "Greg" Farrell (born 19 March 1944 in Motherwell) is a former Scottish professional footballer.
Beginning his career at Birmingham City, Farrell found his chances limited and George Swindin signed him for a moderate fee to play for Cardiff City in March 1964. Playing as a winger, he often showed flashes of brilliance, including scoring one and supplying four other goals during a 5-3 win over Middlesbrough in May 1966. He eventually left the club in 1967 to sign for Bury. Farrell later went onto play in South Africa before retiring. :emoticon-0103-cool:
