While I wanted Soton to deny Sunderland any points, in the bigger picture, I think this is confirmation of the fact that the Southampton bubble has burst, and it could suggest that, in a few weeks time, they will be just another club in the same mini-league as ourselves, outside the top 7.

I think we'll repay 'em big time for our only thumping this season, when they come to the KC.

Makes our signings good business. Long and Jelavic must be better prospects than Altidore. Graham,Fletcher and Altidore cost a packet, shows how much average goal-scorers cost.

He'll tear up this league now he's matured don't you know?

<laugh>

Oh no he won't. That's because he's ****e.

I thought Altidore was a handful for us, had pretty much everything to his game except the ability to take a decent shot and score a goal. In Holland he looked to have learned how to score, but on returning here he looks even worse than he did with us, a proper donkey.

Is it that time of the month for a few of you?

So anyway, was it a draw?

I hope at the end of the day it's down to city being good enough to stay up, and we;ve done it ourselves, rather than rely on others.

Are you talking about our first season in the prem, when Villa beat Newcastle on the final day ? I don't understand that kind of thinking.

You get what you get because of results throughout the season, we picked up one more than Newcastle. That's was down to us, and no one else.
