I would disagree with this slightly. With those who are promoted, they have championship squads with a few additions, we have had 3 years of evolution and investment at the top table, our squad should be and is on paper stronger.

    Bah!

True in some cases, but Cardiff for example spent a lot more then us this season although not the last 3. Southampton came up the year after us but I'm sure their transfer and wage expenditure is a lot higher. In reality lots of clubs (the bottom 10) will be quite similar, although we are still probably nearer the bottom end of that.

That's true, GM, but the squad on paper isn't the squad available, as it doesn't include all the injuries City have had this season. The return of Pilks and Tettey will help, as will Gutierrez coming in and hopefully that will re-energise the performances starting from today! OTBC!

Spot RiverEndRick, but I think your common sense is falling on deaf ears here. Key players have been injured, that has affected our performance some what, why does this simple logic escape so many on here!, I think as you have said with the return of Pilks and Tettey we will see an improvement. That's not us being happy clappers either.

So if there's no improvement what then?

£4.5m-£6m touted for Snodgrass to be sold to north of the border.

    Madness.

If Shane Long is worth £7m Snodders has to be at least that.

    Injuries, all clubs have injuries.

Even when we've been ful strength or near as your going to get we've still played poorly.

Then it's the same situation isn't it?, either we stick with him and hope for some kind of improvement or we take a gamble by giving him the boot. Personally I can't see how there won't be an improvement when those two come back.

That's not true, at full strength we have had some really promising performances, and we were improving with each game. The injuries set us back, I still want CH to go in the summer but I disagree with you there. Hopefully when the key players are back the improvement will be enough for us to scrape through.

Hughton reckons he could name 4 players he'd like to bring in, although we're looking at "one or two" additions still in this window. That's positive.

Apparently us and Fulham after Alan Hutton?! Now that I would be really gutted about if it came to fruition. Would not forgive this as a signing...horrible little fella by all accounts.

The way you talk about injures, you'd have thought bassong, snods, hoops, ruddy and fer had all had long spells on the sidelines and that we are barely able to name 11 decent players each Saturday. don't think even Hughton has tried to peddle this as an excuse. Compared to other teams we've done pretty well.

Right back isn't he? Not sure that's entirely where we need cover. Stoke are interested as well apparently. If we did sign him we'd have 3 of Scotland's first choice back 4!

I reckon Fulham are most likely to make a move for him. Riether is their only decent RB, Zverotic got torn to pieces by Josh Murphy, which hardly smacks of being a Prem class full back.

There are so many reasons why we won't even contemplate trying to sign Hutton. Agent trying to get some interest going no doubt. Also, if we actually did sign him that would be enough reason to sack hughton on its own.

I'm not sure you know what you're talking about, are you one of those with an agenda? Both our main strikers have had injuries, Hooper was injured pre-season, then just as he was easing back RvW was playing as a sub with his injury, then was out for three months, we lost Tettey, E. Benno, Pilkington, Howson, Turner, they are all first team players and are all reasons for our not being up to speed! If you can't see that I have to question your ability to have a reasonable argument!

Hutton is a disappointing rumour. He was at spurs whilst CH was there i think so maybe a little truth in it.

Neil Lennon rumoured to be in line for NCFC manager should CH go. Not sure what he would bring to Carrow Road that is different to CH (I am sure many will tell me) IF he came but if he brings Kris Commons I would be delighted.

No thanks, comes across as a vile nasty peice of work, I'd rather have Hughton.
