Just reading another report, Monaco want him to sign a pre-contract now to join them in the summer, so he sees out the season at Blackpool and goes on a Bosman. No sell-on fee for us ....

its only money.... daddy's a merc who held him back as he was manager and now he's about to be sacked suddenly all this stuff comes out.... sound like fishing for a bid

we don't benefit from that though do we?

Not really. If there is a sell-on clause as suggested then we'd get a proportion whatever pathetic amount he goes for. EG, if the sell-on clause is 10% and the tribunal says £500k, we get £50k

if he stays in england a tribunal would set a fee as he is under 24. if he goes foreign there is no fee at all.

so ince is trying to either force us to come in and exercise an option.... or he's trying to get clubs to come in now.... been too long in championship now... there was a hugely slim change that he might get in hodgson's thinking had he move last year for 6 mil and played well.... though extremely slim. i hope he realises that is his own greedy fault

no time for daddy and i think money is his prime motivator

Sorry, I missed the going abroad bit <ok>

I admire Ton Ince for moving because he wanted to play football rather than sit in our reserves. I don't think he is greedy at all since he could have earnt more staying with us too. He is doing what's best for him and his career, you have to respect that, especially in modern times.

He turned us down last year and Cardiff this year. If he went to Monaco yesterday for talks, it looks like they are considering a genuine offer - unless they interview all their prospects first.

you don't think daddy is looming way too large in his career... turning up at academy game, keeping an eye... causing contract issues, forcing a move, talking son out of blackpool until he suddenly gets manager job? now talking him out of club

Finally looking like we are going to loan out Illori to Granada. <ok>

Reports we are looking at Antonio Candreva from Lazio. Liverpool are interested in a move for Antonio Candreva, according to reports in Italy.

The Italy midfielder is being considered by the Anfield club, reports Italian sports daily Corriere della Sera, because Lazio will be forced to make a decision on his future this summer.

Part-owned by former club Udinese, the Rome outfit would have to pay €9million to purchase the player outright, a steep fee for someone who turns 27 next month.

Having shot to prominence as a central playmaker, Candreva has converted himself into a wide player with great success, establishing himself as an Italy regular.

He reportedly turned down a move to Manchester United last summer.

seema to me every player approaching the end of contract anywhere in europe is being linked with us. this must be the 5th or 6th one i've seen this week, anyone else see this too?

what worries me is the amount of Italian league players we are linked with, a big no from me.

we have form... aquilan, dossena, borini.... therefore their hacks over there would link us to players.

now any player over there would see their countrymen sinking like a stone for us so i doubt it is real

Can;t say that I've heard of that Italian player and for that reason, I don't want him lol.

I rather we go for more bigger names, players with a reputation as the brightest of their generation: Sakho, Coutinho as examples.

M'Vila - please!!

Can't remember where he was but he made a big move to Juve but then flopped there and went to Udinese, got his game back on track, then made a move to Lazio and then he has been one of the better performers for Lazio, a cup team really.

If we are going for players from Lazio we need to go for Hernanes and at a push Cavanda as a RB/LB.

I see - at 27 (which isn';t exactly old) I don't see FSG sanctioning that transfer ...

Me neither, strange rumor to wake up to though! <laugh>

Apart from M'Vila we should still keep an eye out for some players possibly wanting out of Russia. Rafael Carioca is an example, think he is at Lokomotiv now? A CDM and a pretty useful one at that. Could get him on the cheap too.
