    He had overstayed his welcome for some time.

    Now maybe the sport can sort itself out without having to divert £bn's to him to line his family trust funds.

    Seems like it's a temporary move, for the duration of the trial. Only if he gets convicted will we actually be rid of him.

    but will still remain in charge, basically he's stepped down as his attempt at bribing the Germans by buying Nurburgring has failed and he has to face bribery charges.

    Exactly! Effectively, little has changed and he will still be running the show exactly as he did before. Let's face it, it's an admission that there is no one out there who can fill the little man's shoes.
