After two embarrassingly, inept and passionless displays does anyone think we have any chance of getting anything out of this game?
 
Morning Shaks. Daft as it may sound, I do think we'll get out of this rut because I think BMD is just the man to look at the situation, work out what's going wrong, and put it right. Hes already taken the blame in part for how the team was set up for Rochdale and the Wendies. Expect a reaction this weekend.

Hope you're right Boggers. I was expecting a reaction against the Wendies, but it never materialised. We can partly blame Maccer, but if the players give up on the pitch, it doesn't matter what tactics or formations that the manager uses. I'm nervous as **** and with it being live.........<yikes>
 
Good points all round Shaks. The difference is that BMD has said it was him that got the formation wrong, and both performances flowed from that. Will be interesting to see who plays on Saturday and how they line up. 442? Diamond now we have real wingers? 352 and a more defensive formation given our last two games and that we're playing the current championship leaders, albeit at home?
 
BM last two team selections have stunk of desperation.

Dreading it and to be hones Shaks, don't think Ill bother watching it. Highlights if we get a result. If hammered, will just delete it. Have had enough of my weekends recently ruined with this lot

LIW, BMD has already said he got the selection and formation wrong for the last two games. He made a mistake and has put his hands up. I for one do not expect him to make the same mistakes again. Have you ever made a mistake, or are you just perfect?

Think it's way too early to talk about there being "huge" question marks over BMD.
 
Every time we get promoted we have a bad spell and a turning point,I have a feeling sat is going to be the turning point.

Insanity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results.

Rochdale and the wendies games were dire and embarrasing. Brian needs to sort it out and play football that will win against the favourites for promotion. Another wholloping this weekend will see the end of BMcD because no manager can withstand the pressure of a 3-o loss to a lowere leage side followed by a 6-o smashing by favourites for relegation and another one straight away means dead man walking.

Sorry I like the guy but the whole of December and January has been garbage

Life, you're usurping my position as chief in charge of positivity. Hope you're right. But as Doc says if Saturday goes badly wrong and we got tonked whilst not even playing some decent stuff, I can see BMD leaving in the near future.

Having said that, I do actually agree. BMD will turn things around and he will find the right combination for Saturday and other games in order to ensure we restore some much needed pride.
