should be working but instead tuned into the press conference this morning, major points were...

Looking to improve the squad if we can, working on a striker. Carlton Cole is a West Ham player so not looking at him but have other options we are working on one of which is Ishak Belfodil, unsure how far we are with it as Phil Beard is dealing with.

AJ is fit, Bobby is on the verge of fitness

Green returns this week, Ceasar needs to move

We don't have to off load SWP to buy in new, he doesn't know where the rumour has come from and was surprised to hear it. SWP has an important role to play for the team in the 2nd half of the season.

Remy he knows nothing about the details of the loan deal in place with Newcastle, Phil Beard is dealing with

Would not consider a move to West Ham, loving his time at QPR

Defoe, (his face lit up) he would love to take even if only for 6-8 weeks as he will score 10 goals in that time.

That was about it.....back to work.....

Perhaps SWP will come in on the left wing? Traore struggles playing a whole game, just a thought...

You could be right on the left there Loopy! Seems to me Phillips is a lot better when he plays on the right.

Boots don't clean themselves and oranges need to be cut into quarters.

"Bobby on the verge of fitness", I love it!! what a great statement by Harry. He could repeat that every month.

I am not in the SWP-fan club, but he still is well good enough at this level and would scare the crap out of most full-backs in this league.
Furthermore, which most people completely miss, is that he gets up and down the pitch, something that we are lacking all across the midfield.
He has as much chance of scoring with his contact lenses in or blindfolded, but still has a great deal to offer.

Totally disagree :emoticon-0149-no:

Can't beat his man, can't cross, can't shoot. Maybe he should have converted to a full back.
