I've been thinking about this. We're making the assumption that we'll play 2 wingers. It scares the **** out of me to think that. Presently our midfield gets over-run with 3 in the middle - imagine what it's going to be like with 2 !!! I just wonder if we'll play Kebe in a role that allows us to adapt from 442 to 433, like we used to use Kewell many moons ago. Still leaves a solid 3 in midfield.

Anyone know what these new signings are like tracking back? A crucial requirement of them - hope they're up to it!

I would like to see them both start but maybe they need another week training with the squad and a 4-4-2 formation first.

Starting with both and switching to 4-4-2 means some decent defenders are going to be sitting on the bench, I would imagine Warnock starting over Pugh but Wootton, Byram, Pearce, Lees, Peltier and Zakliukas to fill just three positions.

I have a feeling they will both be on the bench, can't see the manager daring to make a sweeping change tomorrow as I can't see one winger starting and the other on the bench unless Kebe starts one side and Byram the other.

I think he needs to make sweeping changes after the last few weeks debacles

Maybe a 5-3-2/3-5-2? You would hope with two pacey wingers we'll play quite high up the field pushing the defence and midfielders deeper into there own half to defend from balls down the flanks that kebe/stewart could run onto hopefully leaving five behind quite comfortably against any counter attacking options.

I don't think we'll lack players in the box, it's been obvious what's lacking and I think they'll be a queue of people wanting to get on the end of some well placed crosses.

Even with the lack of pace you want people running onto the ball so they need to be a few yards behind!

Poleon might be out to Blackpool on loan I heard, which seems strange if they offload Ince and take Dom as a replacement. Hunt will still keep a place I reckon even if we do sign some nippy little ****er like Nahki Wells.

Soo Wells to cleckhuddersfax is confirmed so yeah strike that comment.
