Does anyone else now have a gruesome mental image of a decaying corpse being pulled apart at high G?

I didn't AG, but thanks for that <laugh>

I'm thinking Vettel again this weekend, as someone else said, I think he'll try and make up for his mistake in Montreal, and manage to do it in a positive manner. We'll see though.

Whatever happens we'll still be top of the league then. :)

Stop spelling Felipe wrong :(
last time it was 2 l's now its 2 p's.

I'm going to vote for whoever I get in the sweepstakes from now on! <ok>

I,m going for Rosberg. He will have something to prove after Canada and we're due an upset.<ok>

I feel NR has been on the back foot of MS lately and even been overtaken by him a few times. Nico needs a good result as Schumi is on a roll.....But the win is a bit far'fetched

Schumacher was gaining on Seb when it was raining, at one lap it was down to 9 seconds between him and Schumacher.
He will want a podium for sure this time, having it stolen from his hands last race.
I just wish the Mercedes was that tiny bit quicker.

I would love to see a silver arrow driver on the podium at Valencia but Canada was probably their best track for the whole season, bar Monza. Tyres I think will show it's ugly head here for both Schumacher and Nico regardless how well they do at the start.

I think the wet conditions made it possible for Schumacher to challenge at all. In the dry, the Red Bulls, Mclarens and Ferrari clearly have a faster car, and the mercedes drivers can't compete with then. Wet conditions meant the driver could compensate for the car. I can only see Schumacher challenging again if we have another wet race. A wet Spa might be his best chance.

Seb said he was concentrating on maintaining a 3 or 4 second gap so I wouldn't read too much into that. When Button passed Schumacher and Webber, him and Vettel left the other two for dead.

Is there a prize at the end of the season for the person on the forum who guesses correctly???

If that is the case I messed it up as I voted for Lewis again. He has finished P2 everyrace in Valencia so should be interesting.

And as for the tyres, the meduim was horrible on FP1 in Canada, drivers had no grip and thats why they had to bring the SS to Spain to give the drivers the grip.

We could see a BIG problem if you flatspot one of your SS in qualy as we will see maybe a 3/4 stop(because the M is so slow)

Rain is the only way the drivers are set on a level playing field, you are all right about them not gaining podiums in dry situations.

Well not entirely, you just had to look at the Renault vs everybody else, their traction was stupidly good in the wet.

I think Vettel will win this one. Just have a feeling this will be one of those races where red bull will be unbeatable. Hamilton will continue as he always has and more often than not it works.

1. Vettel
2. Webber
3. Hamilton
4. Alonso
5. Button

Vettel to win as per usual, if he doesn't make any mistakes and the strategies right then he will win every race from now until the end of the season. Nice to see a little chink in his armour last time out, maybe he gets a bit wobbly under intense pressure.
