Jck, I see what you're saying with regard to the protesters and their visible support for Malky having the opposite effect. It probably didn't help Malky's cause and was one piece of the puzzle, in Tans mind, that helped him come to his final decision on when to sack Malky. We all knew Malky was on borrowed time before the Liverpool game never mind the Southampton game.

Saturday is a must win because West Ham are in dire straits at the moment and if we can't get maximum points when they're down on their luck we never will!

Centre half reinforcements and Carol maybe on the bench. I hope they don't get Traore in before Saturday as he's supposed to be close. A 6ft 8" CF would really help Fat Sams 'style'.

On the plus side the CCS will hopefully be bouncing, we should be looking to attack and everyone is playing for their place in the squad never mind the first 11.

All I am saying is give peace a chance.

If by some fluke we lose to West Ham we have a chance to beat the Manchester Clubs because that is why we wanted to be here. We did not come here to lose to all the top sides did we? Until I see different there is no reason to think from now on we will not set out to win games.

I don't think we will see Traore due to work permit issues but Carroll could be on the bench if they are struggling to put a decent 18 together.

Much as I like Jolly Rog and thought he was great for us, he was not at his best against smaller, quicker forwards so I see good opportunities for Campbell and Noone and Kim if they can get the right service and one on one against him. Mutch, if fit, could also give him a hard time.

We know what Rog can do at set pieces though and will need to watch him carefully. Thankfully our nemesis Nolan will not be seen.

Should have seen me celebrating when he got his latest ban!

Man City 4 - WHU 0 after 50 mins!! Surely its a guaranteed 3 pointer for you this weekend they will be shell shocked and possibly minus a manager.

With our win at Newcastle at West Ham getting a trouncing it has to be our heads will be up and theirs will be at floor level. Couldnt be playing them at a better time I think.

And you got Man U who have lost to two relegation teams in the last week

Yep Dave looking to make it 4 consecutive home defeats for them - now wouldnt that be nice :)

He put in a good rear guard action last night though was swamped at times. Put a lot of blocks in, but got opened up once or twice. He's been relegated in the last 3 seasons. Moving from Wednesday to WH isn't going to improve his chances of not making it 4.

Just sorted my ticket for the MU game. As good a chance as any to see us turn them over.

One would like to think so but football is a funny game but our fortunes are so overdue a good result after the kicks in the teeth in last 2 games with late concessions. WHU surely cannot pick themselves up for this one?

It's a game City cannot afford to not win. 3 points are essential, absolutely essential; biggest game of the season NQAT.

100% Agree. Hope the atmosphere is what it should be for such a massive game, I'll be doing my bit <ok>

I give up thinking we might get an easy game, it does not seem to matter who we play or where we get our points. A win will really boost us but one game will not decide much even tho it might feel like it at the time...the Palace game was a must win game as was the Sunderland game while the Man City and Swansea games looked particularly hard but we won those two.
