Shame really. He showed good promise before the incident with his brother. Hasn't been the same since.

    Incident with his brother?!
    Understatement of the year!

It's sad that Palacios has been so badly affected by his brother's tragic death and I'll always wish him well with whatever club he decides to join, but I think it's best all round if he moves on.
A fresh start might allow him to rediscover the form that he showed at Wigan and when he first joined Spurs, so that he can do what his brother would have liked him to do and honour their name with both club and country.

His memories of what happened may be holding him back at Spurs, as the whole thing came to a head while he was with our club.
I really do hope that he can rise above it all and get back to playing with a smile on his face.

I assumed everyone here knew about it, so I worded it like that so not to elaborate on it.

    Worked a treat. <ok>

I don't think he would purely because Levy would demand an equal return to his payout, why his move to Napoli stalled last I read.

I don't think we'll get the money for Wilson so he'll stay.

I thought he put some good performances in the second half of the season and if he's happy to stay we'll keep him.

I think that we'll reach an agreement with Napoli within the next 10 days.

He needs to move, he gets stuck in, we all know that, but his distribution is appalling. Constantly losing posession...a top4 no-no. He could have worked on this with a clear head, and its really unfortunate for him, but I think Spurs have accelerated while he has stalled. I don't wish to appear harsh but sentiment has to stop somewhere for the good of the team.

Luke could bear me out on this, but I think SAF was looking at Valencia and Palacios in a double swoop when at Wigan, but he pulled out of the WP deal...if we're honest with ourselves, we can see why.

I've been a big fan of Palacios ever since i first saw him play. Shame to see he has taken a backwards step in his career but at the same time perfectly understandable.

Luckily from a Spurs perspective Sandro seems like an upgrade on Wilson in that midfield engine compartment. Any team with serious ambitions needs somebody to do the dirty work, citing Arsenal as an example of a team lacking in the combative department and their ability to crumble at any stage of the game.

If he regains his form he would be a good addition to most PL sides.

Arsenal had a perfectly good defensive midfielder in Song, then he dyed his hair and started to think that he needed to get forward more.
Maybe he's like Nasri, Clichy and Fabregas and was just trying to edge closer to the exits?
