Rival watch

Discussion in 'Tottenham Hotspur' started by Spurlock, Jan 2, 2012.

  1. Ray Parlour reckons that it will take 6 months for him to recover from the injury, but then he will need up to 3 months of physio and fitness work to get to the point where he'll be able to play again.

This is a major injury, and used to be a career-terminator, not that long ago.

As much as I may have joshed about Walnut, I wouldn't want him this seriously injured.

It's real bad news for Arsenal, particularly as it exposes an area where they are currently extremely weak.

  2. Roger Johnson joins WHU from Wolves. I don't know anything about him, but a gypsy on Talk5hite, tonight, said that the player's nickname was Relegation Roger, because he's played in three teams that have been relegated, during his short career.

Looks like he's about to make it four.

Yeah the injury is a bad one, I hope theo makes a full recovery and it doesn't cause any long term problems.

He's a local boy, a few years younger than me, and we both used to play for the same grass roots club(different age groups), before he signed for Southampton. - so to be honest, I've always wished the best for him, despite playing for arsenal!!

As for Lennon, I sincerely hope he's not picked. Knowing our luck He'll come back crocked!

Disgusting lack of application considering the position that they're in.

We were close to signing Roger Johnson when Harry was in charge. Johnson's wife comes from Ringwood in Hampshire and Harry knew he was keen on a move closer to her family. I believe talks were held but terms couldn't be agreed.

It's not as bad as being called John Thomas (who played for Bolton in the '80s, I think)

I once worked with a guy called Dick Everard. Whenever a new girl started we always sent them to see Dick Everard, they never knew if you were being serious or not.
