Yeh, heading in the right direction though. Intrigued to see how we do in the second half of the season, seeing as we always seem to play better in the second half. Need more signings that are going to have the same impact both Sturridge and Coutinho did though <ok>
 
Kalou surely has to have started as a joke somewhere. Couldn't possibly be real... why would we or arsenal want an aging relic who could only score one in four games in England. That's a really bad rate for a striker in a league topping team.

Coutinho last day of Jan relaxes me tbh, I just want to see that biro in some decent players hands on our website!

may effect our Reina, thoughts?

I remember the talk of Sneijder, everyone was creaming themselves. Then we ended up signing Coutinho, I remember being so disappointed lol, glad we got him though cause he's an ok player. <whistle>

Yeah he's not bad :), think Cout could've played better this season though tbh

And Sneijder is over rated imo

don't think i was on here at the time but remember a link posted on another site of the Inter forum, a lot of them was seriously pissed off, also the usual bollocks of he is overhyped etc ie because he has gone lol

but he was being touted as one for the future, Schneider was just another Ribbery in my opinion nice link but was never going to happen.
 
in 2012-2013, kalou played in 28 games and had 14 goals and 5 assists in the league, this year has played in 10 games and has 3 goals and 2 assists.

In the French league though, you could prob half those stats if not more for the Prem

Of course, but just showing his stats, those are all in the league, he has some more in Europe as well.

French league does have some good defenders though. Not all the teams of course but I would say half of the league has at the very least some promising or wise old head type defenders.

Just giving stats to back up why it would even be touted. On average at Chelsea he scored 10 goals a year ( sometimes more 13-14 sometimes less 8-9). Primarily from the wing. Not saying we should buy him, just giving his stats.
 
What a **** window this is that people are actually bothering to respond to the Kalou rumour.
