Ya but COutinho was out of nowhere! We all thought Sneijder and then suddenly pictures pop up of this kid Coutinho at Melwood.
 
Coutinho was an inspired signing - he once had a reputation of being the wonderkid of Brazil. As a result, I thought he would be a very good signing in the future, but did not expect him to make such an immediate impact.

90% of rumuors come from agents trying it on to drum up business or from papers peddling (i.e turan every window)

I think the slaah one was a bit of agent, then a bit of denial and right now i think its all used up for the press and will either resurface or will die away. the hughes stuff i think was made up but there's stuff floating around but its just not interesting is it?

If we do enquire about a player it usually leaks so I am kind of thinking we have already heard of who we were looking at and its whether we are moving on form slaah or what. I don't think Ivan Rakitic is on anyway.


I've heard ryan bertrand constantly. I heard a kalou one yesterday... i even found a sigurdsson one today that i wasn't bothered with., then there was the Diame one... there are rumours out there but they are not hot or really something anyone really would push.... by the time sky get round to the counter in earnest i'm sure the rumours will fly.
 
Loans aren't ideal but.....

Caseimero from Real Madrid? CDM but can also look to thread balls forward. Strong in a tackle, still young and possibly a buy out clause? At one point was THE next DM out of Brazil then went to Real and has been slowly moving his way up.
 
i dunno... anyone from spain on laon has my red warning lights flashing as they are usually unfit to play a full 90... who knows.
 
i feel the same way about us linked to anyone from the Italian league but people still want them.

love to have Tello on loan though, he has a point to prove i reckon and may be good for us if rumour true and we get him.
 
yeah the italian league is a real minefield. Any italian wanting to leave it is a big red flag.

Everywhere has money now so finding a player good enough to fit is is really hard.
 
Seems Tello, Rakitic ( but that buy out clause tho....), Salah are the names poppping up....... no CM's though? Gundogan would be awesome but that is probably dreamland stuff ( never know though).

Thought Rakitic was a CM? Sort of a not as good Gerrard in his prime? Lots of energy and power
