Away supporters?

Does anyone know what is happening with the away fans next season. Personally I like the idea of squashing them in one of the corners. I think the sobbers at st james heave actually got this right by putting away fans in the gods so they can't see and generally making them as unwelcome as possible. I'm all for making the mags really unwelcome and I still not happy at montgomerys special guest being arrogant a###hole moncur for deby at SOL. I know quinny is a decent bloke but time to turn the tables and make the sobbers as unwelcome as they do us.
 
For me the mag ****ers can be put in the worst seats in the whole stadium, tbh all away fans should be. The price of some tickets at away games should mean you get the best seats in the house instead you get ****e, do to those bastards as they do to us.

How many of you have actually been to SJP? You must have really **** eyesight if you have been. Noise travels well down to the pitch from up there, our singing section had been doing it for years. You get to see the whole game, rather than struggling to see the other side of the pitch on the front row. As said, you must have really bad eyesight if you can't see.

Exactly for me it's not about picking out our cousins up the road for iffy seats, it's all of the visiting teams. Some of the away games I've been to the views have been terrible, so what goes around comes around. If they don't like it bollox to them.

You are taking the piss I assume...When I go to your place I always take binoculars, because that is the only way you can make players out at the far end of the pitch. Also, there is no lift access for the elderly and infirm, and I have seen some supporters really struggle because of this. In short, Sid James's is the ****iest deal for away fans in the Premiership by a country mile.

I wasn't taking the piss actually, and there are two lifts in the away end for elderly and disabled, I used to use them when we were sat there. As I said, you must have bad eyesight if you can't make out who the players are.
 
Getting back to the question as far as I know the away fans will not be moved from behind the goal. When the question was first raised Quinn did say it wouldn't be this coming season as there are many things to be considered. Among the things he quoted was the moving of the police cells, how the change would affect the stadium and its safety certificate and most important of all the moving of the season card holders from the area where the away fans would be. I am sure some of them will not be happy if they are being moved from their seats. So it isn't just a case of looking at a plan of the SOL saying okay we'll move the away fans from there to there.
Although we do have one of the best stadia in the world the seating arrangements for the visitors was, in my opinion, something that wasn't thought out correctly but, I suppose, it's easy to say that in hindsight.
 
Personally i quite like them where they are. If the away team bring a good following it helps the atmosphere in the ground and there in a good location for if we score to give them a load of ****. I wouldnt feel comfortable with them sitting above me as away fans are usually pissed up and could throw anything down into the home fans. Ive experienced this at Villa a few seasons back and at Everton in the past as an away fan.
 
Think its been mooted to move them to SW corner with our psycho's moving behind the goal after this season.

SW season ticket holders should be able to confirm this.
 
As much as I love the legendary SW crazy corner I think in the long run that is the best place to put away fans.

-The cameras can't see a massive load of empty seats when we get Wigan and Fulham fans etc
-The police/cells are all under that stand
-You still get the atmosphere of away fans rather than sticking them up in the top corner
