Was it cold at Stoke? Just looking at a photo and it looks brass monkeys. please log in to view this image
Oh thats not how I associate brass monkeys, I associate that purely with cold, whereas hearnowt, seenowt, saynowt...I thought you'd missed the obvious....meh....
He was mostly played out on the left and wasn't able to get into many really attacking positions and obviously favoured his right foot - overall he looked pretty "ring rusty". He did make a great run in the first half when he brushed past about three Boro players but then ran out of support and had to turn the ball backwards. He got in a couple of half decent long-range shots in the second half and once got behind the defence but couldn't get much on his header back into the centre. For the last few minutes he was able to move back into the middle and looked more comfortable.
If you still haven't seen the goals...
Boyd sounded like he had a good game. Good work winning the ball back to start off the 1st & setting up the 2nd goal.
If Prossie did gesture at Bruce, then he's maybe not the brightest button in the box. Can't imagine Bruce would think "Duh, yeah, you were right and I was wrong". If it wasn't at Bruce, then ignore the above.
