Seems a few names there we all have missed on the rumour rounds, some never heard off. Thought we had all sites covered, obviously not.

    McDonald Mariga-Inter ?
    Pierre Webo-Real Mallorca?
    Cedric Hehgbart-Auxerre?
    Derek Boateng-Getaffe?

    And it's only mid june..

Missed this one yesterday, but as the rumours on connor whickam grow, seems no bids so far.

Ipswich have not received a single offer for teenage striker Connor Wickham, boss Paul Jewell insisted on Monday.

Wickham, 18, has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs with Liverpool said to be leading the chase for the £10million-rated ace.

But Jewell said: 'Everybody is talking about Connor Wickham but we have had no offers for any of our players and that includes him.

Great expectations: Connor Wickham (left) is tipped for the top
'The good thing about it is that I don't have to sell anybody, unless it's an offer that we feel is right and we want it to happen or a player doesn't want to be here.

'There have been enquiries but no offers. Enquiries don't mean a thing. I could ring Barcelona and enquire about Messi but it doesn't mean I'll get him.'
But Jewell accepts the situation could change in a matter of weeks and Wickham, on England duty in the European Under 21 Championship in Denmark, could still move on before the big kick-off in August.

it's strange that when transfer stories pop up during the season we write most of them off as "lazy journalists" but the same lazy journalists write exactly the same speculation in the close season and it becomes interesting and almost believable

I believe in everything thats written by a journo, I especially like the true articles posted in tha daily sport, London double decker bus found in Antarctic, Vulcan bomber sighted on the moon, etc etc, all of this useful data to file away for future use in pub quizzes, wonderful stuff, actually, the sport section is realy very good, then theres the tits and the semi porn ads, so If its printed it must be true, thats why ARRRY, KENNY,and BRUCIE are going to bring in about forty players each, should be no problems with injurys next season.

Fulham are ready to snap up DJ Campbell from Blackpool – and beat Sunderland to his £1.25million signature.

Boss Martin Jol is looking for a new striker, with Andy Johnson *available for sale.

Campbell favours a move back to his native London over Wearside

Shame i wouldn't mind him at SOL

Steve Bruce will attempt to slash *Sunderland’s wage bill – with high-earners Craig Gordon and Steed Malbranque vulnerable in the clear-out.

The Black Cats boss has been told to free up resources so he can afford his eight-man target list - and that means reducing the huge £53.69million the club shell out on player salaries.

Keeper Gordon has a patchy fitness record, while winger Malbranque has one year left on his contract and won’t get another.

£54 million a year wages bill, thats four times what it cost to build THE SOL, best we have a whip round to keep Steed, as for Gordon, when fit, magic, unfortunately its not that often anymore, and could worsen with time.

Love Steed to bits but he is very much a home bird player. Not consistent enough to warrant a first team place and his goal scoreless record for us is pretty poor. Yes he is the best technical player on our books and works hard for 70 mins but how effective is he in actually creating goals?

He is an expensive bench warmer but if he stayed, thats where he will be much of next season? He is better as a 20 min impact player than a full starter.

I would offer steed a new contract

    £10,000 a week and 1 million a goal

    Cash will be safe.
