Bottom half for definite...anywhere down there including one of the relegation places...top half has gone already, we are just not good enough this season and that was not on the cards at the beginning of the season...
Who's cards. the press maybe but not sensible people who could see there was /is a potential not to emulate last seasons performances .We're in a position of playing in two competitions at the same time of the PL & The Europa Cup , an influx of new untried players and the added problem of key players with long term injuries, any one could see that would put a drain on our limited resources.
bloody hell mat there was plenty on here saying we would finish better than last season including me. I remember very well what we were all saying during pre season. Well we have been a let down and are not playing to our full potential with the caliber of players we have in our squad and that is so disappointing. who would have said at the beginning of the season that by the half way point we would only have two home wins under our belt and not a single back to back wins and just 4 points from a relegation place....I wouldn't have and neither would 99% of the other jacks.
There in lies the problem because the expectation isn't yet being realised posters throw a hissy fit without understanding or ignoring the reasons why things aren't going to their expectations Bigger and better clubs than us have struggled to stay in this league why should we be any different , I don't feel let down ,why should I , I believe the players overall strive to do their best but on the day there are so many variables which can go against us .
Dai, do us all a favour and shut the **** up, how many ****ing times have u said we are only 4 points from the relegation zone. You do realise that at the end of the season the difference between being relegated and mid table safety is only about 10 points, so at this point in the season we should be 5 or 6 points above the relegation zone. A little bit of luck against villa and we would have been bang on target, despite playing in Europe, but don't let hard facts get in the way of you having a bloody good moan. 54 years following the swans my arse, 54 years of moaning and whining more like. Trouble is MB it's in some people's dna - they are eternal pessimists. I should imagine that if Dai won the lottery he'd still be a whingeing old sod. The problem is that on a forum he's sharing those pessimistic thoughts with those who haven't got him on Ignore and it's tiresome. On the money with this Dai, and after Michu's last season, and Bony coming on board, we could all be forgiven for being so up beat, we have certainly under performed this season, rotation and injuries not helping either!..............
