Sorry to take this off thread (ban me if you want ,you nasty mods) but there was a home win at the library tonight No honest guv A HOME WIN
A football thread! How does this work then? I think they have a few out and we haven't had enough time to get anything going. Best foot forward for us, full steam ahead so OLe gets to see what we are missing more than anything. Expecting to lose but will be having a real go at these.
I see no reason why we should lose , We won't be favourites that's for sure but Newcastle can sometimes let themselves down at home Didn't Hull win up there ?
Considering that the last time we won up there was over 50 years ago I wouldn't go getting your hopes up but stranger things have happened. I even heard we had 2 players in the opponents half last week but I'm sure that was just a rumour.
Really not getting my hopes up here Welshman .... just wondering !! , Is David Kerslake still employed by Cardiff City. I think Ole could use him for a while . It will be difficult for any new manager and two new coaches to get their fingers on the pulse in three days EDIT ....not that we had much of a pulse to find !
Just checked - Newcastle are not doing too bad , But they have lost to Hull , Sunderland and Swansea this season so they don't do very well against Sh!t teams , there's hope for us in our current vein of form .
We do have top class players and one or two or three or four not so good players, last two games for a fair time we played well. It will be good not to have to worry about points in this game so I cannot see why we cannot win. I gave up thinking we can lose to top teams if we beat bottom teams that don`t work so any team is there for the taking now. jck
Blueturk stop being naughty! But think you have a good chance against Newcastle - was watching the news reports with OGS joining in training and the thing that struck me the most was the smiling faces! All the **** going on behind the scenes is bound to have affected the players the last few months - with a lot of that resolved maybe now they can actually start to enjoy being in a Premier League side, couple that with the lift a new manager gives a team with every player wanting to impress and I really don't think Newcastle will be looking forward to this game. You have a fantastic defensive base to build on, so the foundations are there for OGS to start working on the attacking game he loves. New chapter I think guys, put all the bollox behind you and start enjoying life in the Premier League. Will stick my neck out and predict a Cardiff win (2-1). Good luck guys!
That was very tongue in cheek Cartoon You smashed them hey I just paid my first visit to the Swansea forum in a year and wish now I hadn't bothered, its sycophantic at best (No ,me neither) Anyway ....all the best against Man U
Cheers Blueturk I still look in on the Swansea board now and again but haven't been tempted to post; my biggest fear is that some from other boards may think that it is an accurate representation of Swans fans views rather than the same old guys expressing the same old prejudices over, and over, and over, and over again! Would be nice to beat Man U at last, but won't shed a tear if we lose - IMO we need to concentrate on the league because make no mistake we are in a fight to avoid being dragged into a relegation scrap at the minute.
And we are in the same position (worse even) but a win gives us all hope for the rest of the season I guess
Just checked in on SSN and we have Hudson facing the press conference ...looks like Ole has given everyone a new start A new broom sweeps clean and a new beginning for unwanted players from the Malky era I have a warm feeling .....oops
