Well that sums up my knowledge of Norwegian. I just hope its right! lol. All the same i think that everyone should now get behind Ole and wish him the very best of British for an awkward and sometimes thankless task that now lies ahead of him.

Let's hope he can use his influence at Man Utd for a possible loan deal for Zaha maybe? And also in the current transfer window.

if were going for zaha i would try and buy him for say £7.5 million and offer a buy back clause of say £15 million

It might be only me, but am I the only one on here who doesn't rate Zaha on the same scale as the hype that surrounded him at Palace?

Admittedly he has the one significant quality we lack out wide and that's pace. For that reason alone he's an option as he's far better than anyone we've got wide on the left at the club, but I just don't see the value there that others do at this level.

We've heard enough of this "one for the future" lark about Corney - we need "one for now" with any dosh that's going.

Jefferson Montero is still out there.

Hi Sparkey.

Zaha murdered us (I know, everyone did) and I think with a run of games you'll never want Zaha to leave.

Would love to see Zaha here even for 5 months.

Loans are probably the best way to go in January unless someone who can enhance the team becomes available at a decent price.

Im sure Solskjaer will have things in hand and positions will be strengthened.

Hi Redprintt, with all due respect (there's that phrase again!), there's a world of difference between Bristol City and Man City.

I may be on my own, but I don't rate Zaha as highly as some. Having said that, he's better than anything we've got wide left at the moment. A fit Bellamy would do for me. <ok>

Really ......... did you see him live when he battered us twice???

Hold on are you saying what people post are only their personal opinions?

Jesus I been here posting facts by mistake.

jck

Remember that game well BfB. Super Kev wrapped him up a treat. If I remember correctly even a Gerrard tackle had him crying in front of the Bob Bank.

Big difference between any level Montero has succeeded at too.
At least zaha has experienced the physicality of the championship.

Zaha first played against us at 17 in a 0-0 at the CCS. He tore us to shreds and if he'd had a final ball they'd have murdered us. He's got the potential to be as good as he wants IMO. Don't think the mancs will sell even though Moyes doesn't seem to fancy him. Maybe as said above now is the time to try though. Half a season first team at ours and moyes might realise why fergie paid 15m for him.

I was at that game, no end product. I also saw Zaha on other occasions both at ours and theirs when he was forced to switch wings and got subbed more than once.

Rare for a 17 year old to tear a championship defence apart like that though.

He's sorted his end product since then too. He had a few quiet games but he's developed physically in the last season.
He was on a different planet to Noone last season and he's doing ok for us.

Please don't mistake me replying to this as me joining in with JH's pointless baiting of people who may not have been at the games he played against us.

No worries Steve. The guy has talent but he's not Jesus.

It's not unusual for a talented youngster to make an impression first time out but my point is that after that McNuggs had his measure.

Obviously unproven at pl level, but I'd be shocked if there's a better winger available to us in Jan.

Zaha was the real difference in the play-off final against Watford tbf ... he also tore us to shreds at the Walkers last season ... I'm not sure what his ultimate potential is ... but I've found it very strange that he has not featured in a very average United side this season ... can I also say that I think Ole is a very good choice as manager at this point - both politically by Tan but also in terms of what he has shown so far at, admittedly, a lower level in managerial terms ... he was a very intelligent footballer in his time and could well be a very shrewd manager - whilst that doesn't in any way excuse what I think was disgraceful treatment of Malky McKay - that was solely down to an egomaniacal owner ... and on that basis I wish you, and Ole all the best ....
