That would seem to be Tans lot from some.
Tan wore a blue jumper yesterday, now you would expect some comment on this fact,it was hardly going to go unnoticed.

But as usual, some look for something, or someway, to have a go at him.
As for instance this was taken from the aamb.

"Once again today Vincent Tan showed how much of a clown he is by wearing blue, is it sarcasm ? Is it a piss take ? Or is he giving us our identity back ? No chance on the third one."

SO was it sarcasm? a Pisstake?

Or maybe he just put on a blue jumper, or worst(if you're in the Tan out brigade) he actually did wear it in recognition of our blue colours, the team were wearing blue!

Also, it seems some of the Tan out lot are concerned who we might be getting in during this window, how does that work?
So you want the guy out, but you want him to sink another £25 million into the club during the January window?
Sounds a bit contradictory to me.

Tan is a bit of an eccentric, and he does things that are not the norm, but I feel he may be learning a thing or two, especially from the sacking of Malky fiasco.

I read on another board an interesting take on things, that possibly Tan was a bit to trusting with MM and Moody, they being the "football people" he might have let them hold the pursestrings having given them a budget to work to.
It's conjecture I know, but it would make sense of a few things.
Why Moody got the push, why the animosity between him and MM, why Lim would sign off the cheques.

But since MM has decided that perhaps court isn't the best place to go to we might never know.

Whatever, you can be sure of one thing, until we start doing ok with OGS then the Tan out mob will find anything they can to have a go at him.

It will be interesting to see if Tan's behaviours change longer term. He must be perceptive enough to realise everything is not good in the CCFC world. Does he care? He might not have, but he may need to make some concessions to get people back on board.

    4 things
"tan is a bit of an eccentric" understatement of the year so far
I personally just want tan out, not concerned about what he does with his money (Unless it directly/indirectly damages the club)
If you GIVE someone a budget to work to, how can you overspend it ??
lastly, you don't need to find things to have a go at tan for when the whole world is shaking it's head

    Helmet and flak jacket on....

All I'd say CD is don't believe everything you read in the paper, according to them OGS was definitely not coming.

Malky was a naughty bastard and anyone who blames Tan 100% is either willfully ignorant or as clueless as Tan is about football

    Come on SBFF.

You know as well as me that the Scam Hamman crew are back out in force now he has been paid. Luckily the majority of City fans can see through their bullshit and agendas.

As they say though an empty vessel makes the most noise <ok>

I read that yesterday and just thought how ridiculous the comment was. Maybe he was just wearing the same colour as the team.

    1. Thats just an opinion, the kind of thing I'm talking about, if you are a Tan out fan then of course the extreme is true for you and it's an understatement, but you should look around the world and see what a true eccentric is.
    2. If Tan goes right now what on earth do you think will happen to the club???? or is league 2 calling( if we are lucky)
    3. I gave a reason on how the overspend could have happened, not my personal take on it but it shows there is alternatives , and not being privy to all and sundry we cannot be sure exactly what happened, we can make assumptions, but when you start making assumptions you are just feeding your own agenda really.

    4. Obviously not all the world is shaking it's head or we wouldn't be having this conversation, but perhaps your world is a bit smaller than others.

As stated those who want Tan out don`t care what happens to our club, anyone who knows anything about business will know there will not be a club now.

Let those who have sunk £140 million into the club make the business decisions, how many offered to pay the £1 million to the tax man when administration was very close?

Tan did not change the colour.

Tan offered to invest a further £100 million if the shirt could be changed due to the culture and history of his country where blue is a sad colour and red is a happy colour.

The board made the decision to accept the offer.

Due to a huge protest regarding our culture Tan compromised with blue as the away colour and the bluebird logo represented on the badge.

No respect has been shown for his culture but he should respect ours?

Tan should respect fans but they have not shown one sign of respect towards him.

The club was going nowhere till Sam took over and he got us to the championship with passion and I will always thank him for that.

Risdale and Jones kept the club in the championship under severe financial pressure and despite this always pushing for promotion. I thank those two.

TG came in with the investment the club had to get at the 11th hour that is how close administration was at that point, he persuaded Tan the club had potential so that is when he invested in particular paying £20,000 a week towards the loan deal for Bellamy.

We were promised premier league football and massive investment all that has been delivered.

Tan is here to stay or this club will cease to exist so if you want the best for this club it is time you concentrated on supporting the team and stopped giving the media news that is damaging the image. Tan says very little so it is not him who is constantly dragging the name of this club through the mud it is those who don`t care about the club but have a personal agenda.

It is not Tan out but rather the so called fans that do not want to move with the times and have no understanding of the modern game at the highest level.

One last point, Malky will always be remembered as the manager who won the championship for us and took us to the Carling cup final. Results and performances in the premiership given the investment was no longer good enough and a normal business decision was made to replace him before the transfer window to give the new manager adequate funds to improve results and performances.

Standing in the bob bank in pouring rain soaked to the skin were not the good old days, it was low league football and not many wins. Being in the premiership with a rich owner these are the good times and if you cannot enjoy the good times god help you.

League cup :p but apart from that generally agree

I don't think he's handled things very well at times though, that said, the media circus and those blindly following AA have caused far more damage than Tan

    Good summary jck. <applause>

As for the Tan Out Brigade "There's none so blind as them that cannot see".

I told you he is the current number one media target so he is in a no win position - maybe he should have kept away from a few games whist the dust settles - but no doubt a few papers would have had a go at him for that! Or if he was going to be at the Emirates he could have borrowed an Arsen Wenger sleeping bag :)

Hope this isn't taken as a "vile post"

snlk: Just wishing you good luck with the new club you will be supporting till Tan goes.

Obviously you will not be supporting Cardiff until Tan leaves. All those who said they would not support the club if there was a colour change have gone I assumed you would be following.

Is that you Bob? Happy new year mate <ok>

You know, we moan about the managers, we moan about the owners, and usually with fair cause, but this has gone a bit too far, we are getting drawn a bit deeper into this by those who like the divide, I'm beginning to think we should call them the "Sam Back " brigade.
Tan isn't bright and he has done some real stupid things, but it's just over the top.
If it wasn't so over the top I might have been in there having my Twopence about him.

Unlike you jack I am signed up as a Bluebird for life. A true football fan doesn't change clubs or latch on to Premiership success.

Each will have their own opinion and I respect that though can't help but feel the tan out stuff is only hurting the club

On a positive note, finally on the train back to God's country after a week in Plymouth :D
