Simple really, because Malky wouldn't back down and bend to Tan's will. Tan is looking for a jumped up yes man to work with players with a certain number in their birth date. Surely any suggestions on transfers shouldn't be discussed until a new manager is in place, which suggests that Tan is looking for a puppet to manage for him, and someone who won't challenge him.

Conjecture, your evidence wouldn't stand up in court, but we're on a football forum so make up what you like <ok>

No SBFF, I replied to a post suggesting that your next manager needs to be a strong character, to which I pointed why, when Tan has already sacked a strong character.

As for wumming, I haven't done that on here for a while now.

Sounds like wumming to me, although I do detect a smidgen of anger in this last post of yours

If I wanted to wum, I'd be taking the piss, however read my posts and you'll find no wumming <doh>

Managers are employed to do the job the owner asks them to do not what they feel like doing. The manager does not tell the owner what to do.

No manager in the premier league has lasted more than 2years apart from Pardew (3) and Wenger. There is a good reason for that because they did not do the job the owner wanted them to do.

Malky was told to attack more and use our best players, he refused and the Southampton game was his response which in effect told Tan that he would field who he liked and play how he wanted to play.

You could say that is a sign of a strong manager but I would say it was the response of a lunatic.

jck

On oddschecker they just close down the betting overnight I think, not sure about the individual sites though.

Well someone is putting money on OGS now,, 2/9 with one and did hit 1/10 quickly, is that hopeful betting or a bit of inside knowledge
