We are. Arsenal is the only top side that hasn't had major changes going into the season, and yet they are still managing to balls-up their title challenge!
"How the **** are they top or at least nearly top? The rest of us must be real ****e." Just did a bit of stattery, and the table as it currently stands is nothing of real note bar most of the top 8 being in the mid 30s and the leaders having real daylight to the rest. The "concertina" effect once again in evidence.
That's why. A tough away game and we grind out the three points to go top. A Chensey mistake aside, they barely created a decent chance.
Apart from the one headed off the line, and chesneys brilliant save just before half time. Krul wasn't bothered at all in the first half. Please, please, please play like that against us next week, we need a bit of charity at the moment.
Forgot about the one off the line. The long range shot hardly a clear chance, but was a great attempt. You are going to create **** all, if we play like that that against you and we have good enough players nick a goal or two against your defence at home. But we are going to set up differently,we are at home, so we won't be as defensive.
Carl Jenkinson missing a golden opportunity for Arsenal to kill the game off at Newcastle earlier: please log in to view this image Krul went up for a corner and is miles out of position and there's no defenders back. A simple throw to Bendtner and he'd be clear through. Didn't come back to bite him on the arse, unfortunately.
Still cannot see Gooners holding on to top spot for much longer. Both Chavs and especially £ity have better squads and will steamroller over them. In fact, we have a better squad than the Gooners, and if we get a bit of momentum going there's every chance we can catch them, too.
Goofy's old diving antics are coming back to haunt him. That should have been a penalty and E'to should have walked. Shame, because the draw would have suited us.
Friend of mine from Uni went to school with Jenkinson. Apparently he was a bit thick, also always insisted on playing himself as a striker all the time haha
Mourinho's acting like a right desperate old tart at the moment. Flapping his bingo wings at the end of the game to get people to look at him and then interrupting the post-match interview with his players. Is he trying to be entertaining to make up for the dour football he's serving up?
With Jose's aging team he has to make the best of it.If it takes boring football to get an odd goal win he will do it......while praying that someone will conjure up a special goal from nothing! It's working and Chelsea fans don't care what they watch so long as they get some points. Now Spurs fans on the other hand.......
Indeed, Smithy. It's the reason why the Chav posters to this site are so incredibly jealous of our club.
Cardiff owner Vincent Tan has informed the club's board that he prefers them to buy players with the number eight in their birth date. (Source: Metro) This muppet is madder than Mad Dog! At least when Mad Dog gives you the bullet (regardless of what you win for him and his plaything-team), he just gets on with it and doesn't take the piss.
