Head in the sand im afraid to say KJ.

The football was fine but what is the point of paying 12m quid for a striker if your not going to pass him the ball in the right area ?

Bony had 2 half chances in 80 mins ,we were criminally slow in the final third and were taking far too many touches on the ball which was killing Bony's movement, with him have to check back all the time.

Our crossing of the ball was woeful apart from Pablo who was a shining light in at least trying to be creative but our overall team play to feed our star striker was a toal embarresment .

having 73% of the ball means nothing if you can only have 3 chances at goal !! 3!! ffs !!

We have some real issues behind the scenes and its starting to manifest itself on the field now, the team are doing just enough ,only playing when going a goal down, the captain doesnt really give a fck and lets Ben run round like a headless chicken totally forgetting his defensive duties ,not once did ash bollock him for not tracking his man or getting back sharply, contrast this to taylors performance against chelsea when doing his defensive duties !!

Ash should be winding ben in a bit thats what a captain does, yet i see none of this or at least not enough of this, its almost like he is playing his own game and not behaving like a leader.

Quite what you think is so splendid about us spunking away points with man utd,man city etc on the horizon ive no idea but fair enough all about opinions .

Make no mistake and ive said this weeks ago on jackarmy.net if we dont sort out what is going on behind the scenes and on the training ground we are slap bang in the middle of the biggest relegation dog fight the prem league has ever seen .

Does our team have the fighting spirit ? its not like they need to impress Laudrup because word is he is off at the end of the season, we are lacking that critical 5% and some players dont really give a fck, thats a classic recipe for disaster .

Exactly...And its not a one off its nearly every single game we play. How others cant see the reality is beyond me. Just because we look good passing the ball they think that's great football......well Its not working but we will still keep playing that way as laudrup is a one trick pony and very predictable...

Given that you are hinting at problems off the pitch NJ' I'm curious to know if there is a player divide in the camp between those who Laudrup has brought in and those who were there pre Laudrup/ bought by Huw, as we look like a team of individuals at times.
I've said this when Bony and Michu play together, in that certain players miss Bony out and prefer to give the ball to Michu even when Bony is in better positions.

    P.S. Sunderland have equalised.

We had 17 chances at goal.

Listening to Dai and his new sidekick you'd think we use to win every match.

Drag/ Dai You two must be gutted. A team we thumped 4-0 has just equalised against your new favourite team. YES!!! Eat that!!

NJ - I'm not buying your "behind the scenes" **** any more. Until you say what the 'problem' is and your source I'll continue to see it as bollocks.

We played brilliantly today - we looked like the Swansea of old at times - with only the final ball missing. Any team will miss Michu and Dyer who create lots of chances between them. No sign of discord behind the scenes as far as I can tell. Even if there is it didn't look to me as if it affected the players and that's what counts. JDG - outstanding. Pablo - fantastic. If Davies's header had gone in (and he should have buried it) you wouldn't have the excuse to pollute our board with your tripe. :)

No doubt if Laudrup goes you'll say you predicted it. <laugh>

It's a serous problem that Laudrup and his coaching staff must address in the January window, otherwise I see us creeping into the dog fight at the bottom, one we would not win in my view! Good post Norway....................<ok>

6 of the teams below us have to come to the Liberty between now and the end of the season. Those games will decide our fate. Win 5 of them and grab a handful of points away from home and we will be fine.

At times with us though, easier said than done!

And with the games we have coming up and the way we have been playing, we might be a little closer to them soon.

Our position in the table is deceiving, so don't go leaning on that too much, as you might fall over!.............<ok>

Yes but thats not what i said .

having 17 chances mean a kick 50 m up in the air and over the bar counts !!

Shots at goal, meaning inbetween the sticks that was an embarrassing 3 yes just 3 times we managed to make the goal keeper pick it up or pick it out of the net , considering we only worked the keeper 3 times it was great to convert but the overall total is absolutly **** considering the level of posession and how poor villa were :)

Despite what the serial WUMMERS say we played extremely well today. At this stage of the season we all have the same matches left.

Don't bother monty - you will never convince plastic keyboard warriors. The only upside I can see to us getting relegated if it happens is that we'll see that back of this type of 'fan'. <ok>

By highlighting the lack of shots on target (correctly imo) you are conveniently forgetting the influential players we are missing in Dyer and Michu.
