Because I haven't lived in Africa I can't express what I think will be mankind's future views on mass animal farming/meat consumption?

Of course I 'consider' peoples' opinions, but you've offered nothing. Just pure pish and ******ed arguments.

You still haven't understood what i've been trying to say on this thread. You've also made a **** of yourself.

Time for you to go to bed :( Give it another go tomorrow if you're feeling brave.

Am quite intrigued by what 'have you ever had to earn for a living' means. No rush though, i've read enough of your barely literate pish for one night.

Thick little ***** <doh>
That there is your poster of the year captain buzzkill.

Toby grew up with a wealthy family in France and now, due to his own ability, is poor. Edge grew up in a poor family and now, due to his own ability, is quite wealthy. The social mobility system works, Thatcher was right <ok>

A wealthy family in France? Where the **** did you get that from?

I'm not earning that much now because i had fun in my twenties instead of churning out ugly kids and working like a **** like you did. I'm good at my job and my salary will increase considerably over the next few years. When i'm 40 i'll be able to look back at my youth and feel content, whereas you'll maybe own a house or 2 more than me but you'll be living in regret about ****ing up the one chance you actually have to have fun in the only go you get at being alive.

I win <cool>

To be fair, you have gave it the "I grew up in a lovely place in France and all you ****s grew up in ****holes in northern Britain" once or twice.

Believe it or not I also managed to spend my early 20's having an absolute ball, on a Mediterranean island, and now I'm a bitter miserable **** like you and the rest of the people living around me in the British Isles. I'd like to brag that the future will bring me much happiness like you assume it will you, but that's full of **** - I may have the major stress relieving benefits of not having to look after adult children when I'm in my 40's, and maybe some money in the bank and a mortgage paid off - but let's face it, the boredom of non-struggle will probably lead to depression and further alcoholism along the ultimate path to death from smelly disease, or vehicular misadventure.

My parents were skint and escaped a dodgy part of London to a field in France where they bought a pile of rocks/beatdown farmhouse for 5k.

It was still paradise compared to the north of the uk, mostly due to awesome weather, incredibly accessible booze and sexually promiscuous french peasant girls.

I've dealt with my depression/what's the point of it all moments already, took me years but now i'm just looking forward to it all.

I've not had a spliff since sunday, not the right time to start arguments with me...

Aye, that's because you still believe you have it all ahead of you to achieve - wait until (if) you get to the stage where you've already got almost everything you want, and accumulating any more of what you further-want is subject to seriously diminishing returns.

You're listening to pessimism hour, with Mick <whistle>

That's where we differ. I've never been motivated by owning stuff and having loads of cash. I just want to have fun and spend time with the people i care about.

You need to reassess what you want from life. <ok>

Aye, you're economically to the left, and I'm to the right - you're not primarily interested in earning money but you are interested in taxing other people who are inclined that way <whistle>

Actually since you mention it I've spent the best part of the last year making moves so that I may get more time with family and friends - but not-working and still living requires making capital work for you, and the first step to that process is acquiring capital.

Promiscuous peasant girls ! By **** Toby your a hoot son .

A regular bonifide laugh-a-minute Mittyesk muvvafucker .

Fanfuckingtastic <rofl>

We're being all deep here, **** off and stop ruining it you ****.

Oi vey ! Didne mean to interupt your preaching from the pulpit of the great god capitalism Micheal . You go girl .

Tell him about your stock portfolio , that's always riveting

My 4 year old ran out into the road last night and cheated death by inches ,the driver stopped to scream and swear at me and i thought he was going to get out and attack me.
I felt sick at the thought of the mess it would have made of my little boy,he must have a guardian angel and i said a little prayer.
Strange reaction to narrowly killing my son, the first thing in his mind was aggression.

Delighted your 4 year old came to no harm, I have a 5 year old and well aware of how unpredictable their behaviour can be.
Put yourself in the driver's situation and sure you can understand why he reacted as he did. He came so close to having his life turned upside down too and would possibly have faced a long period of investigation at best, or a jail sentence at worst, plus the guilt of knowing that he had been a player in the demise of a toddler. Nothing compared to the grief of a parent's loss, but tough **** to deal with too.

You'll be getting a framed photo of Maggie on your wall next.

Incidentally, there is more to life than money. You do know that don't you?
