Good news. With 2 days to go hopefully he will be able to start with maya on the bench and jos and fox in the stands.

2 things about Chambers.. he can cover for Clyne or Shaw.. thus meaning that we don't need Mr Fox in the first team. Secondly he can also play wide right midfield thus reducing the need for a Puncheon type player. In fact tomorrow if both he and Clyne are fit it might be a good option..

....... Gazza....
Clyne Fonte Lovren Shaw

.... Cork... Davis.....
Chambers. Lallana. JRod
....... Lambert......

You have a good point there. Doubt it will happen though, too out there!

So my usual question before saints match, do I pick Clyne or Shaw for my fantasy football team? last game I went with Shaw and helped saints record a clean sheet. With the festive fixtures there is a chance Cyne wasn't rushed back and could start agaisnt Everton. But then Shaw has a tendancy to miss games at the last minute!

I'd say Shaw.

Shaw. Clyne is 50/50 at best to play.

I agree that Chambers has to stay in, he has been excellent, particularly against Cardiff.

I would go:

------------------Gaz--------------

Chambers--Fonte--Lovren--Shaw

--------Cork------------JWP-------

Lambert-------Davis--------Lallana

------------Rodriguez--------------

The formation is pretty meaningless as the front 4 will rotate as they did at Cardiff, and JWP will get forward a lot too, as will the full backs.

Think they'll be goals in this one with the main defensive midfielders missing.
Everton forward line is very scary and Gazzanigga will have to produce some meaningful saves for this game.

Good thing is all the plyers can fit into our system. The bench is a tad weak if Dani is still out and that's a bit of a worry.
