Right before a crucial game, pathetic timing.

Thankyou for everything Malky, you took us to Wembley and the Premier League.
One of the best managers we have had.

May not be , could mean your team are released from their shackles , they would have known it was coming ,it was just a matter of when .

That would be the positive thing to happen, but I support Cardiff so I'm not expecting it...

This is true. Some mistakes, but very little faith shown in him by an eccentric owner who knows nothing about football. Has been working under immense pressure for a long time and has shown great dignity throughout IMO.

    Ole Gunnar Solsjkear next.
Could it be that Malky set up the team to get thumped yesterday to force the owners hand?

That's a ridiculous sacking, Tan should have waited at least until after the New Years day fixture. The amount of unrest now will have a big effect on the team.

Looks like OGS next... Which could be a fantastic signing, but I'm not fickle and disappointed with how this all played out.

Well I rate Malkey and if Laudrup was to leave I've no problems with him coming to us.

Good luck Malky and thanks for everything.

OGS next, almost certainly. I think this had to happen before the jan window to give us a chance. The axe hanging over his head and the fixtures we had coming up meant he had no chance of making it past January.

I know nothing about OGS as a manager except he's highly rated. You'd think he want to get us playing attacking football, there are many players in this squad who are 'malky types'. I wonder how well he'll utilise them. It'll be interesting to see if any of the forgotten members of the squad get a chance.

As my wife just said "the king is dead long live the king".

Can't see protesting about this will help now, it's done, let's move on and get behind the new bloke.

Very sad news indeed. Wherever Malky goes next, and he can walk into any club in this country, he'll have nothing but the very best wishes from the CCFC fans.

    Always going to happen.

Really sad to see him go and appalled at his treatment.

Hes a young manager who is still learning and has made mistakes tactically and in the transfer market. However he inherited a right mess from Dave Jones and in 2 seasons got us to a Cup Final and won the Football League Championship.

As it stands we are not in the bottom 3.

He will get better as a manager and we should have stuck by him and let him get on with his job.

We may have gone down but he deserved the chance to keep us up and at worse attempt to bring us back.

    All the best Malky.

On a side note we need someone in charge on Saturday. If Dave Jones appears everyone has their tipping point with the changes and that will be mine.

Tan better get us a decent replacement or these protests are going to get bigger.

Well he had it coming, and best this has happened now. Look forward to the new era, lets hope for someone who can actually set a side to compete.
