If we beat Sunderland this Saturday we will be in a fairly decent position.

That game is all that matters now.

If we play 442 with a Taylor/Whitts combo , Gunner in central midfield and Cornelius or Odemwingie up top with Campbell we will be beaten again.

Why the **** is Mason on loan?

Because he is one for the future !!! He also wants to go forward into the other teams box and thats not allowed unless its for a corner or freekick

Most probably be sold come January, why keep hold of someone that can actually score.
That isn't fair really, FC can score and Mutch, but not the way we play lately.

I have to agree with Hilts. Why is Mason not at the club. Why isnt Maynard being given a chance, especially given that Odem is absolutely ****e. Cornelius looked like Bambi on ice for a full 45 minutes. Our back 4 fell apart, Mcnuggs can do a job there. Bolton are doing well with him in the team, and Mason. Harris playing really well at Brentford. Do i think MM has lost the plot. Yes i do. Sorry but its time to go MM

Mason would be perfect in a role just behind the front man.

On 45 minutes yesterday id say Rudy would be a better option than Cornelius.

Harris is injured unfortunately. May be an option from the bench when he gets fit.

You and Villa and a couple of other teams have been in the 'comfort zone' for a while and that is psychologically bad for some teams, Hull, Blackpool where in that postion few seasons ago WHU similar. We go to your ground tomorrow with confidence and know about Campbell !, he runs a lot but no end result.

That is the thing, we have the players who can and should beat Sunderland but need a manager who will pick that team. Malky is gone so a defeat for us now will not exactly shock anyone but it could work the other way, the team might come out all guns firing.

I think by now you'd have realised that nothing is a given in this league , Sunderland are slowing gaining points , play as a unit and have a half decent side so to say you should beat them is a bit ingenuous ,yes you could get a reaction from the players but the likes of odedemwinger isn't someone I'd like to share a trench with.

You spend time thinking about who you would like to share a trench with?

Nothing is given...well Southampton were given 3 points.

The point is no one thinks Odemwingie should play apart from the ex manager.

I have seen nothing in the bottom half of the table to make me think we are not capable of beating all those sides. I do not think we have a weak side and I expect us to finish in mid table.

At Sunderland you have had a really bad time apart from your last few results so you know what it is like to see your team lacking in effort and putting in poor performances.

The least you can expect is your team to fight for every point.

    That is all we ask.
