So no one has bothered to start a Spurs in the January transfer window thread. Are we all uninterested or what?
Both SOS and I were being polite and letting Moorpheus do it. He likes to take control of it.
Mind you, there's probably not a lot of point doing one. what's likely to happen? Benny comes back.... then what?
if that's the case, surely we'd have to sell someone? we're hardly short of midfielders!
sorry RDBD, I didn't make myself clear. i don't mean from a home grown point of view, I mean just because we'll have an abundance of MF's we won't be able to keep happy.
Not sure about what the other Thorstvedt is wearing for Norwegian TV's Premier League coverage...

No, of course we have too many midfielders and I mentioned this the other day that the first part of the squad which needs addressing is the midfield as we have far too many players through the centre, especially if we're now going back to 4-4 (then 2 or 1-1).
We could do with selling certain midfielders, finding a striker like Sheringham or Keane (who could work with any striker up top) and then a winger who can cross the ball.

Had a bit of time to spare though so I checked out a few of my statistics which surprised me. I have had a feeling that we were doing quite badly this year - and yet the stats show we have one more point this year than last from 18 games - and also that we have 2 more points against the same opposition teams. It just goes to show what 6-0; 5-0 and ridiculous 3-0 at home to rubbish does to your mind.
Mind you last year we were about to embark on 10 games without defeat winning the next 3 and winning 7 of the 10 - so Sherwood had better get us motoring quickly if he is to keep up.

Yep if Sutton can stay there it's a play-off place for promotion to the Skrill Premier,playing the likes of Luton Stockpork,Wrexham etc.
Luton and Wrexham, there are two famous names from FA Cup games. How far are you away from the conference?
we are conference,the next division down which is Skrill south and skrill north,two teams from each go into the conference
With all this shirt pulling going on and going unpunished, does anyone think that we should follow the lead given by rugby and wear skin type shirts to avoid shirt pulling. It would give us a very useful advantage.
